    Invaluable resource for freedivers
The Freedive Cafe podcast is an invaluable resource for freedivers, both beginners and intermediate. Freediving in its modern incarnation is a sport still in its infancy. There are so many difficult concepts for beginners to grasp. Donny has made all the right decisions when creating this podcast. It is long-form interviews so you really get to know the person on the other end, their experiences and each episode walks through many of the important concepts in freediving, some of which are rather ellusive for first-timers. Donny is quite knowledgable. I'll wager he knows at least as much about freediving as most the professionals he interviews. He's a natural interviewer, possessing great skill at keeping the discussions interesting and on track. I couldn't imagine a more perfect podcast for me as I am newly interested in this tiny but extremely beautiful sport. All I want to do is swim! If all you want to do is swim but you are trapped in the car or elsewhere on land, this is the perfect thing for you too. I have no reservations giving the Freedive Cafe podcast a warm Five stars. Kudos Donny!

    Finally! Great Freediving podcast
It's only a couple episodes in so far, but both have been very well done and interesting. Freedivers interviewed have been very well-spoken and have made for very worthwhile episodes (and interview questions and style have been good). It is very exciting to see this podcast on Freediving start. My hope is that current topics, research, and news on Freediving will be explored in future episodes. I would also love to hear more advanced techniques discussion (differences in breathe-up methods, nutrition, errors commonly made when beginning competitions, etc among competitors), and not simply basic introductory information on freediving that can be found easily online - since most listeners (hopefully) will have already taken a course (or should be strongly advised to do so before beginning freediving- not just rely on a podcast or online information). Thanks for starting this, best wishes.
