    Everyone needs this podcast
I am so grateful to God that I found this podcast. It was recommended by someone on tictok. It’s absolutely incredible, it helps so much to understand and study this way, I appreciate you doing this so much. Glory be to God. God bless you!

Are you looking for a Bible study?
The Bible Recap will open God’s Word to you in such an amazing way! It has been a wonderful tool and experience. I am so thankful for my friend telling me about The Bible Recap. Looking for Jesus in every book of the Bible puts my focus where it should be, on God and not on me or my circumstances. HE’s Where The Joy Is!!

Come on, you know you wanna…
This has been one of the richest Bible study aids I’ve used! Go ahead and start… today’s your day! I’m about 3/4 of the way finished, and this is my very first trip through the Bible chronologically. The structure of the Bible app plan plus the brief (yet meaty!) podcast episode to follow each day’s reading has made making a daily routine way more attainable. The podcast has some helpful content that fills in cultural context or historical information for the day’s reading, which is especially needed with some of the more obscure books/passages in Scripture. I’ve also found it to be helpful in training you how to look for who God is, finding more of his character in every story. “He’s where the joy is!”

Excellent plan to start and finally finish
I tried for years to read the Bible in a year. But I was never able to finish. The reason is because I was in by myself. Tara-Leigh makes you feel invincible. Like, you got this! Reading it with the podcast has been amazing, oh and the book!!! My friend gifted me the book and when I’m stuck Ibgo to the book and boom, …unstuck! I’ve grown so much and learned so much. What I haven’t told you is that I am a Bible teacher myself. The research that Tara-Leigh brings to the table is easy to understand, the language is modern and the knowledge is ancient! I recommend this plan 100%. Do it with a buddy! You won’t be the same ever again!

This has brought me in such a closer relationship and understanding of God
I can’t say enough good about this study, it breaks the readings down into easy to read sections, making me really study and get to know Jesus. I am enjoying this study so much!! Thank you TLC!!

    Life changing
The Bible Recap is life changing. I look forward to reading God’s word even more now with the Bible Recap Plan and with better understanding thanks to the podcast. Thank you Tara Leigh and your team.

    Yes!
I have learned so much more about the Bible by reading it alongside this podcast than through reading it alone. Thank you, Tara Leigh!!!!

    So Amazing!
The Bible Recap is the best. I’m almost half way through and I’ve loved everyday. It is the perfect amount of time and really gets you into the context behind verses. I’m so glad I've stuck with it. 10/10 would recommend!

    Fantastic!!
Love listening to The Bible Recap every morning after I use the Plan on the brown Bible app !!!

    I’ve learned so much!
Perspective and context are laid out daily. Going through God’s word in a historically chronological order helps me understand it all that much more. Every book of the Bible, every chapter, every verse - He’s where the joy is!

    Such a great resource
This podcast quite literally does what it says…recaps! She does a great job at sticking to theological facts and stays away from personal opinion. I’ve gone through this plan 3 times and with each new year bring a couple new people along with me. Reading the Bible chronologically for the first time changed the way I approach the Bible and having this podcast to help me clear up the confusing parts and wrap up our daily reading in a 6 minute summary is SO helpful! There are many days (especially in the prophets) I walk away so thankful for what this podcast provides.

    Life changing!
I’ve read through the Bible many times, both reading a paper bible & listening to it, but nothing has helped me get the most out of my daily bible reading than this podcast! I love listening to the Bible passages for today and trying to guess what “God shot” or points Tara-Leigh will point out in the podcast. Whether you have read the Bible many times before or this is your first time, this podcast is for you!

    Reading the Bible daily
It’s like reading the Bible with a really smart friend. She keeps me motivated to read daily and helps make sense of everything. Thanks, Tara-Leigh!

    I am so GRATEFUL!
I’ve always wanted to read the Bible through in a year. I have started other plans before, but I have not followed through in completing reading the bible reading plans. I never followed through, because I became really discouraged throughout the reading as I was confused throughout my readings and felt all alone in doing the readings. When my Sunday school teacher suggested the Bible Recap, the community aspect and podcasts sounded so great that I had to give it a try in January of 2021. I have not regretted that decision one bit, and I highly recommend this podcast and Bible reading plan to anyone looking to grow their faith! The Bible Recap offers an individual reader a community of readers to participate in the reading plan together, daily encouragement, a very doable plan of reading daily, and a podcast that is so great to explain what you just read as well as give book overviews through a YouTube video before starting a new book of the Bible. I am on Day 232 of the Bible Recap currently, and I have so enjoyed diving into the Bible each day and growing closer to the Lord. I am thankful for Tara Leigh and her team. Without them and the Lord drawing me closer through His word daily, I don’t know if I would be able to complete reading the Bible through in a year. I hope to continue doing this plan yearly as it has been tremendous to my faith and growth as a Christian!

    Life Changing
This podcast has changed my understanding of God & the Bible. I am now fascinated with the Old Testament, & I never thought that would happen. TLC makes the Bible so easy to understand, & this is the first thing I listen to everyday. If you’ve ever wanted to know the whole Bible, then start here. ❤️❤️

The best tool for reading the whole Bible
I am so thankful to have discovered the Bible recap! I received Jesus as my savior at a young age, but have yet to read through the entire Bible. This reading plan and podcast is helping me do that, finally! Tara Leigh points to God in every podcast, and helps to make sense of what was read each day. Thank you, Bible recap and Tara Leigh!

    Best Bible Resource
So grate to Tara Leigh and her team for al their time and research in helping me better understand the Bible. I look forward to starting off my day learning more about God’s character through His Word. As a teacher myself, I appreciate Tara Leigh taking the scripture and really breaking it down into more bite size pieces that make reading the world Bible in a year more understandable and attainable. Grab your coffee and the Bible Recap to start your day!
  • Bsiggies
    So Helpful
Finally, I can read the Bible and have so much I don’t understand explained plainly. I love this podcast and appreciate the hard work Tara Leigh has put into each of these episodes. I’m loving this walk through as I read.

    Love it!
I really love this podcast. It’s short and to the point and adds amazing insight into the scriptures that I thought I knew so well from hearing them so many times before. There are always new nuggets of wisdom, helpful resources and really cool archeological facts that I hadn’t considered before! I’m actually grateful for the Covid19 lockdown because it led me to this podcast! Thanks for all you do to teach us the Gospel!
  • MalloryJoy8
    Grateful for this podcast
This podcast has strengthened my faith. I can confidently say that I understand the Bible more because of this resource. I recommend to anyone that wants to deepen their faith and deepen their knowledge of the beautiful story of Jesus.

    Excellent series!!
I’ve tried to read the Bible through on my own and it was good but left me wanting more. A friend asked me to join her group on January 1st to read through the year in 365 days with the Bible Recap. So very glad that I joined! Thanks so much for this great podcast to really highlight and explain the readings! And thanks Kristen for inviting me!!

    Fantastic podcast
Has brought me closer to God by bringing truth in such a fun to listen to way. Strongly recommend, wether you do the reading plan as well or not. I listen wherever I go in the car just because it’s more enjoyable than anything else. The side effect is that it teaches me and encourages me so much.

Milk to Meat it’s all in there!
My wife and I use this as our daily reading and we also share it with those we mentor. What we love is no matter where you are, brand new or a seasoned saint, it meets you there. The recaps are insightful and thought provoking. Thank you D-Group and thank you Lord for the amazing family of God we can walk this journey with. God bless you all.

    Life changing!
Reading the Bible has always been difficult for me. I just can’t seem to understand what I’m reading (especially the Old Testament). This reading plan and the podcast have helped me learn SO MUCH about that Bible that I never knew! She explains everything you’ve just read that day, plus connects it with passages you've already read on other days, and connects it to things to come! It is beautiful!
  • JMS_mama
    Great daily Bible accompaniment!
I found this reading plan & podcast at the beginning of the year and it helped me maintain a daily Bible reading time for the first time in my life. The length of both the reading and podcast is perfect for sticking with a new habit. I grew up in church and have never been presented with Biblical truth so clearly and understandably. Tara-Lee keeps the focus on God instead of us, and I have learned so much new stuff in the last 232 days. This podcast has really broadened my perspective of God and the history of our faith in a new way. Thanks, Bible Recap team!

First podcast review every - WELL WORTH IT!
So grateful to have stumbled upon this podcast. Started out alone, then my husband joined me a few days in, now my sister is doing each reading with us as well. This is the first time I’ve read the Bible and wanted to continue on. The podcast is a great way to finish up our readings as I often learn things I didn’t catch myself. Would recommend this 1000x

    New life
I love TBR! I am a stay at home homeschooling mom of four and I have found it very difficult the past 10 years to spend time digging in the word like I want to. And to be honest, I have never even gone through the entire Bible front to back consecutively. This has been such a life-giving, soul-thirst-quenching gift. For as long as I can remember I have loved the Lord and His word, but TBR has taken it to a whole other level! Thank you Tara-Leigh and TBR crew! This is a highlight of my day - every day!
  • Emily Anne 123
    So helpful!!
This podcast has given me a fresh perspective for my devotional time. It has helped me understand the Bible like never before. We can learn something more about God’s character and plan through each section of the Bible.
  • JusAnutrDa
    Better than coffee!
Yes it is so good to read the daily scriptures first thing in the morning and then follow up with the Bible Recap. It’s how I get my day going. I love the energy and the way you brake down of the scripture to a more current relatable understanding. Thank you so much and God bless.

A Great Way to Dive into the Word
This podcast, in conjunction with the Bible app reading plan has really helped my focus during my quiet time. It was exactly what I needed!

    Great insight
I just love reading the plan from the Word then listening to Tara Leigh I’m always encouraged when her “God Shot” is the same as mine. It’s like God puts an exclamation point saying pay attention. I know it takes a great team God bless y’all Debby Ogle

    Awesome podcast
This reading/listening Bible plan and podcast recap is excellent! One, it is realistic and manageable for a working, mom. Two, I love that the plan is chronological. Three, finally a podcast that is not about “me”, but about our mighty God! Thank you, TLC!!!

    Bible recap
This podcast has given me a fresh look on the Bible. I am excited to dig deeper every day into what God has to say. Thank you for working hard.
  • HercFamily5
    Great companion to Bible App
I listen to this almost every morning in conjunction with the 365 study plan in the Bible app. This is really well done, entertaining and informative and just the right length to listen to over breakfast/coffee. Very well done.

    Blessing
I am so incredibly thankful to have come across The Bible Recap. I went through a very difficult season in 2020 (most of us did) and from that trial I knew I needed to turn my Heart towards God and grow in relationship with him. I made a commitment to read the Bible in 1 year (never been able to do that before) and because of help of Tarah Lee’s recaps and Chronological layout, I am accomplishing that! I just finished my 51st book of the Bible and on August 23 my mission to read the Bible in 1 year will be complete!! Praise Jesus!! 🦋💜🙏🏼 Thank you DGroup!! And I’m joining my very first DGroup Bible study this month too! Looking forward to continuing to grow in relationship with the Lord and be on Mission with DGroup! God Bless and Love 🦋

    Best thing this year
Of all the changes in my life this year, using the Bible Recap to read through the Bible has been the most life changing and joyful. Thank God for this podcast!
  • @ginilaul
    So fun!
TLC cracks me up! She gives great Biblical insight with pop culture comments!!!!!! I’ve struggled with reading the Bible because I’ve always looked for “what’s in it for ME!” TLC reminds me daily to look for my CREATOR and THEIR heart for people!!!!!!”

The most life changing reading plan
This podcast has truly been life changing. I have attempted to read through the Bible many times and this is the first time I know I won’t be giving up. I wake up with a desire to read my Bible because this podcast brings clarity to many things that have confused me about the Old Testament- things that ultimately kept me from reading through it. It’s enjoyable, informative, and most importantly I have grown so much in my faith as a result. I couldn’t recommend this podcast enough! My husband and I love it. Thank you Bible Recap- God has truly used you to help us and our walk with the Lord.

    Encouraging and Satisfying
I’ve read the Bible but not ever on a chronological plan. This one is so good and the brief commentary gives great perspective, Really helps get you thinking about scripture with very helpful background information. Using the podcast in conjunction with the Bible App has set me up for success. Also the first six episode are a must listen! They give background and thoughts that help you keep going later when you start to get discouraged or unmotivated! Thanks Recap Team!
  • Aunt Hope
Great way to start the day!
Look forward to hearing TLC’s recap after reading the Bible passage. Always helpful to have an interpretation.

    Fantastic recap
I’m so enjoying your recap with the Bible reading. Pulls it all together and makes sense. Highly recommended!!!

    Amazing Tool
I’ve never been able to complete a whole Bible reading plan… until now. Tara Lee takes you by the hand and leads you through both the easy and tough passages in the Bible. She teaches through such humility that you know when she’s giving an opinion and she is extremely knowledgeable in the Bible. I am SO THANKFUL I found this resource. It’s encouraged me every day to get through the Bible.

    God Driven
The Bible Recap is a blessing from God and so is TLC! I listened only to the Recap when the pandemic began and then beginning in January, I started reading the wonderful Bible and listening again to the Recaps. The Recaps help ingrain biblical learning and knowledge and help highlight God’s loving presence! I am grateful that I am in the Word and owe so much of that to God and TLC! Thank you!
  • ISNG4U
    I’m changed! 215 days in…ADDICTED!
I can honestly say that spending the past 215 days in God’s word, the Bible, has only happened because of the Bible Recap reading plan, podcast, and community. Mind blown! I have grown so much closer to God because daily I am diving into HIS word and seeking to know HIM more intimately. I’ve known the Lord Jesus for 45 years. I’ve randomly read through the Bible before but this daily chronological plan (with all it’s links/tools) has enhanced my understanding of God and HIS Bible more than I can even express. Tara-Leigh, thank you for being the voice in the podcasts that communicates daily in less than 10 minutes the research from the team that puts each episode together. I’m so grateful for the YouTube links to the overviews of books, the maps, articles, etc. I can’t say enough about this plan! If someone reading this is craving increased understanding of who the God of the Bible is and what relationship with HIM is meant to be, I encourage you… no, I challenge you to try this reading plan and podcast. Better yet, do it with a friend! Connect and grow in community. That what I’m doing. I have a dear friend (in another state) traveling with me in the YouVersion Bible App. We are so encouraged every time we open the Bible Recap reading plan in that app and see the check mark beside each other’s name showing we both have completed the reading for that day. Listening to this podcast gives greater understanding. Again…try this. Connect and grow in community! Totally worth it!
  • Clueless(likemost)
    Seriously the Best Reading Plan
I can’t say enough good things about The Bible Recap. This had been my favorite Bible reading plan. Because it is chronological, it is very systematic and it makes more sense to me. It breaks down both history and theology in the recap after the reading. I love this plan, and I plan on repeating it!

TBR with TLC Has Changed the Way I Devo Forever
Reading the Bible chronologically and in a year (2 things I never thought I wanted to do) has changed my devo-reading life forever. And actually, if it weren’t for the corresponding podcast with Tara Leigh Cobble, I don’t know if I woulda stuck with it. Especially thru some of the Old Testament. It can be so confusing and honestly boring! TLC helps me 1) understand some of the cultural things that are new to me 2) keep my eyes on God 3) encourages me to keep pushing thru & not quit. Because I can’t stop talking about how powerful this devo has been for me, my hubs started it and for the first time in 10 years, we’re going thru the same devo at the same time and it’s brought us even closer together. I’m so grateful!!

What a gift this podcast is!
Every time I have listened, the ‘God Shot’ sentence is just what my heart needed to hear that day! This is about God and His power to heal and love and bless us. Through humor, easy to follow voice, and uplifting episodes, this podcast is seriously the best! Thank you for each recording and for all the time, study and prayer that goes into it! Thanks! 🤗

    Love the The Bible Recap
On days like 112-113 - I glaze over, and don’t get anything from the Bible, but TLC brings in the babble - so I get what I just read. Thank you TLC and D-Group

    All the feels!
The Bible Recap is cheerful, heart warming & encouraging Bible study! You can take in the short version or dig deeper with the notes. Really good stuff I wish I’d discovered a long time ago!
