The title is a quote from the show that says it better than I could. Between the main show and all of its new satellite shows they really cover everything (Comics, Movies, TV, Games, Anime). I’m a long time listener of the main show and I love the diverse perspectives on the latest geek news they offer. The hosts are top notch on all their shows, and I love the new “pull list” show that tips me off to the new comics I should be reading in the same way the main show has tipped me off to moves and shows I want to try out.

I love everyone of the cast except for one, Kofi Outlaw lives upto his wanna be name! He pushes his Hate of Marvel and love for DC on the listeners, which he try’s to act like he is some sort of professional in the industry. But his lack of knowledge of what a good movie is makes him come across as a total fan boy in which he loses all credibility. Maybe Paramount wouldn’t be in such bad shape financially if they didn’t support such foolish content creators like Outlaw! The Podcast is borderline un listenable once he starts spouting his personal feelings as some sort of industry elite!

ive been looking all over the place for a good comic book fan podcast and i finally found the right place . keep it up guys! you got a new subscriber here!

Ive been listening to the show for about 1.5 years. At first I really enjoyed the 3 hosts kofi Matt and Janelle. Discussions were enjoyable. I feel like ever since Connor became a mainstay, the show has become more negative in a sense. It’s been off putting in a way and I don’t feel like I can be a subscriber anymore. Best of luck to all hosts

I’ve been a long time subscriber and listener to the show, but the recent episode left such a bad taste in my mouth. I thought Matt and Janell did a fantastic job in his absence for a couple weeks. To Kofi’s credit he did give them a thanks in his stead, but it’s usually way overshadowed by the amount he put them down in some weak attempts to make jokes. You can have an opinion on not liking certain episodes or shows, but it seems almost impossible for him to let go of his ego and let anybody else have an opinion that doesn’t align with his. In this recent episode, there was a big argument, and instead of trying to consider his cohost opinions, he dug his heels in. It was painful to listen to. There has been a lot of great episodes, but there are plenty of other great podcasts or “shows that do it all for geek culture,” despite the claim he makes at the beginning of each episodes.

Audio sounds terrible. Content is alright. Not super funny.

Great content that spans across all things nerd. Not sure why wrestling is on this podcast, just have to fast forward through that… More comic book discussions please! Kofi and Matt are clearly well established comic readers. Janelle does a good job of offering opinions for main stream listeners and for people who are inexperienced in comic/geek lore.

You guys are incredible! I love the back and forth and the information is exciting. Keep it up comic book nation.

Listening to the 3/15/22 episode. It’s my first impression of the show. Audio is echoing is pretty bad. It’s really distracting.

I started listening to this show last year in the summer during the pandemic, I would go out for a run around the same time every day, about sundown and have this podcast on, it was so entertaining and love hearing all the different insights! Still listen to it to this day and it never fails to show such integrity and good sources! Update: I started listening to this podcast again recently and I missed it!

The cast is very knowledgeable on comics and very different fandoms. love their views on topics and the discussions they have is a perfect way to get your Friday entertainment with news and reviews and celebrity interviews.

Been a faithful listener and watcher of the show since S2. Even went back and binge all of S1. Caught up right when you guys started doing shows from home. And I can say, you guys have did an amazing job with what was a crazy transition to continue to keep us up to date with geek culture. I look forward to this podcast every week but I wish they had a female host who actually knows and understands comics. It’s annoying every week hearing the same thing “I don’t know” or “It’s not my thing”. The other podcast that focuses on Marvel content it’s great to hear their perspectives cause they all know the material and information. I wish CB Nation would add another female host to balance everything out.

Love this pod cast. I enjoy the various host and there different view points from a new comic reader to very experienced reader it’s great to hear all of their opinions and takes on a bunch of different fandoms. This last year or so sucked big time but listening in each week brought some light to the whole crappy mess thanks guys and gals.

Generally entertaining but a few people and their “hot takes” or lack of opinion get annoying.

I listen to Comic Book Nation every Friday like clockwork and it really helps start my day on the right track. I listen to Kofi, Matt, & Janell break down pop culture and they do it with aplomb. They make me laugh and they talk about so many subjects NOT JUST MARVEL it’s refreshing. And if you join live you get to chat with the amazing comicbook nation community they are also worth the hour and I always leave feeling better than I did before I started listening! I love this show!!!! I adore the chemistry between the hosts. This show will have me laughing out loud in my cubicle at work, much to the irritation of my coworkers. I love having a neutral opinion on the various projects discussed. I enjoy the breakdown of the comics, since I rarely get to hear so many insightful opinions on comics in general. Overall a great podcast.

I’ve been a long time listener to the podcast. I always enjoyed it until Janell #morecontent Wheeler joined.... then I Ioved it. She provides a different perspective from someone who has not read comics their whole life but is interested in getting started that I can relate to. They cover a large area topics such as comics, Marvel, DC, Walking Dead, Star Wars, wrestling, anime, video games, and much more. They have different experts on each topic they bring on the show depending on what they are covering that episode. They also do a pretty good job of letting you know when they will be discussing spoilers so you don’t unintentionally get spoiled on anything. I love the grenade topics Kofi will just drop and then sit back and watch the carnage. My kind of style. Highly recommend the podcast to anyone interested no matter your current knowledge base.

I’ve been listening to this podcast over a year now. When I told my friends about it they were shocked, since I was a proclaimed anti podcast girl. But I got addicted fast. I love anything related to Harley Quinn, Joker, Wonder Woman and Marvel. Yes I love DC and Marvel...don’t shoot. The content and conversation is fantastic. Keep it up!

Great for info and entertainment, I’ve listened to who knows how many hours since I found this podcast.

Love it! Depending on whether I listen before or after watching comic book TV/movie content, it serves as an appetizer in some instances and a dessert in others. Would’ve given it five stars if it weren’t for how sucky Charlie is. Just loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate of others’ opinions. Listening to him frustrates me.

This is commentary on the world of geeks on, with integrity. They don’t focus on rumors. They have their ear to the ground. They’re trustworthy sources. Love this. And love hearing Kofi once again!

Good mix of characters w/o the saturated bias

This is my go to podcast for all things nerdy. If I could give them a higher star rank I would ... 100 stars definitely. Very informative and the cast of awesome people make it a weekly listen to.

I discovered this podcast about a year and a half ago and it was love at first listen! I love the discussion and debates about Star Wars, the MCU and other movies, I've found their news and updates on the entertainment industry to be super reliable (something that s hard to come by), and their discussions around comics are still really interesting eventhough I'm not an avid comic reader (although I've started reading some because of this podcast). Plus, the chemesty between everyone who appears on the show is off teh charts. In simpler terms, it's a must listen!

This podcast covers everything I need for all my pop culture loves. Consider me a nerd wanna be considering they do a great job going in depth and explaining everything in the movies, tv and comics I haven’t known and can understand. Love this show

What a mess. I had a 5 star review, interacted with the hosts, and even won a shirt. It was such an awesome and informative podcast that was crunched for time at 2 days a week and now has moved to 1 day a week. The hosts and team are great, but whoever decided this group should only press record once a week doesn’t understand how much this podcast directs people toward their site and spotlights content creators. As Janel says “more content”.

Love the podcast! It really helped me kill some time in quarantine. It definitely got me more into comic books and reignited my love of pro wrestling. Me and my dog are sad that y’all are moving to one day a week and shorter episodes... its our favorite thing to listen to on our walks and in the great words of Janell wheeler “want more content!!” (PS: would love a shirt 😁)
