AudPettitOne of the BestI’ve been tuning in since the beginning & it just keeps getting better & better. 10/10 would recommend to any story lover or tabletop RPG lover.
-
Majdo2020Great APsI’ve been trawling through and listening to the shorter APs which I find more engaging than the heavily edited ones. Scott Dorwood’s Lampost’s In Bloom brought me over and I’ve stayed since. Loved the Blade Runner AP and would love to see more with those characters. Great dynamics and great tales. 5 stars.

WinkingchefExceptional quality and immersionCame here for Ross Bryant’s brilliant turn as a Blade Runner. Stayed for the high audio standards and storytelling.
-
InfG35xShow ending? This is an amazing, award winning podcast. However, they haven't released new content since November. Is it dead?
-
BennyburrGreat Call of Cthulhu podcast! This show alternates between humor and maintaining the horror elements of the game. After binging the first season in a week, I’m excited to get into the rest of the show!
-
OhPeachesGreat Actual Play!!On my 3rd relisten of the 1st season. It’s so funny and the production value is amazing. It’s thrills and laughs from beginning to end. Cannot recommend it enough!!
-
rushincaAin’t Released No EpisodesI want to love this show, but it’s hard. The episodes seem so intermittent. The Blade Runner 6-episode series started a month and a half ago and we only have 3 episodes? That just doesn’t cut it. Great episodes, but a 2+ week wait each time? Nah.

Rei123348383838474Great TTRPG Podcast to listen toI picked up Y’all of Cthulhu to listen to in my free time and the first season was a awesome experience. The setting for the game is crafted beautifully, the NPC’s are lively, and the horror aspect of Call of Cthulhu truly shines. You’re left with more questions than answers, and totally invested. Highly recommend giving the series a listen.

BatmanDinoSharkExcellent horror with a sense of humorI showed up for the main campaign; a creepy Old West exploration of deep terror and cosmic bloodlust with a surprising amount of heart. The keeper (or game runner for those not acquainted with Call of Cthulu) for the main campaign does a good job of emphasizing the absurdity and futility of existence in a world touched by the Eldritch. The episodes where Scott Dorward is keeper or has a player character are fantastic as well. Someday I’ll listen to the other short form campaigns but I love to hear Cuppycup and Scott together

CircleofvSure to blast your funny bone to mist*UPDATE 7/22 below* The vibe of this show is excellent and scratches that creepy + western itch I didn’t know I had. I’m a big fan of TTRPG podcasts and Call of Cthulhu, in particular. This group does a great job of goofing without killing the aesthetic. The only negative is the podcast release schedule. I’d like more, please. Would highly recommend. Update: the show is still quality and I highly recommend it. However, the latest season is a bit overproduced. It’s slightly distracting and removes some of the improvisational/TTRPG feel. I still get cravings for this show, but it’s not an automatic download for me anymore.

Boston GabeBig silly fun!I’m a mew listener and not caught up yet but I’m enjoying the ride.

BakedBeanLatte777Amazing actual play podcast!!Started listening about a month ago when I heard a preview of your show on the Dark Dice Podcast and gotta say it has been an amazing experience listening to the backlog of episodes. Amazing storytelling, sound design and character involvement! Keep up the great work!

SharkRepairWhen you hear the train whistle blow…Take an actual play, wild west Call of Cthulhu podcast and add in great background atmosphere, including voice actors for the NPCS. It really fleshes out the listening experience! 20 gallons of hilarious eldritch horror in a 10-gallon hat.
-
sunalldayeverydayGoodI love this podcast when is season 2 coming out
-
JugglingJesterIt’s WoofHere’s a five star, because the l also doesn’t exist for me when I say wolf. 😂😂
-
BdheudnfVery entertainingI’ve never listened to an RPG podcast before, but y’all are great. Very talented cast and really impressed by Cup’s story telling. Made me want to figure out how I can start playing.
-
bobgrenville_6Fun RPG pod with great production valuesAin’t Slayed is full on wonderful characters in their main Y’all of Cthulhu western arc as well as in their limited series. A great comedic romp through cosmic horror scenarios. Cup’s character sometimes doesn’t die
-
Firecop890Amazing!!If your looking for a actual play RPG look no further!! Ain’t Slayed Nobody has it all!! Give a listen and join the Posse!

SLegg08Fun story and great charactersI’m not the target audience for this, with zero experience playing table top role playing games. But I jumped into ain’t slayed very early because of the creator and characters and have been hooked since the beginning. It’s a fantastic story with hilarious characters and is just a fantastic listen. Even the side arcs have been awesome and I’m always excited for more content.
-
noodlecarlAwesome! This is my first experience with an RPG podcast and I am loving it!!
-
wojteknologyCosmic horror and femur comedyI have always wanted to get a Call of Cthulhu game together, but had trouble getting a group together. I started to search for a Call of Cthulhu podcast, found Ain’t Slayed Nobody, and am so glad I did. This group has some of the best interactions and the story is quite compelling. Jeremiah was was what initially got me hooked on the series, but the entire cast quickly became endearing. I just finished season one and am (extremely) anxiously awaiting season two.
-
TyWatchesMoviesThis show rulesI came across Ain’t Slayed when looking for a new actual play to keep up with, and was thrilled to find this one. Big cosmic horror fan, and I’ll admit that at first I was wondering how much of a cosmic horror game it would actually be given the setting, but once they opened up those elements of the lore it was unbelievable how in-depth they went with it. As far as general story goes, I was hooked pretty quickly but I truly became invested in the characters and the stakes when episode 10 hit. If you’re in the fence about giving the show a listen, it’s absolutely worth your time.
-
EyeOfTheWillowHigh quality show with best keeper everThe show production quality is the best I have heard. Cup the gamekeeper is in a league of his own. Can’t wait for the next season!
-
RazdByBearsAlmost good…To be clear - I am your target audience. I love podcasts, horror, and CoC. I like everything about this podcast - EXCEPT THE PACING. The Keeper (cup) drives the action MUCH TOO SLOWLY and focuses on roll after roll after roll. For example - one player was rendered unconscious FOR TWO WHOLE EPISODES. Cup - please take a word of advice - drive the action forward, and don’t ask for so many rolls. Let the players play in character. and if what they want to accomplish isn’t dramatic JUST LET IT HAPPEN. Yeesh. Ok, rant over.
-
diceproblemsGreat actual playAP podcasts live and die by their editing and this one is top notch. We get enough table talk that we get to know the players and laugh along with some good jokes, but no dead air or long digressions. Music, effects, and guest voices are also great, and the long game along side the shorter games gives a great window into how these kinds of games are run. Give this one a try! (If you're curious about horror gaming, anyway) (My favorite character in the Y'all of Cthulhu game has been Johnny, though Jeremiah's fan favorite status is well deserved.)

asaplukeyCuhthooloo? The other reviews say it well — Aint Slayed is super fun and well produced. Appointment listening for my wife and me. Maximum stars.
-
LittlebshawBest Call of Cthulhu podcast!I am absolutely obsessed with Ain’t Slayed nobody. Before I had caught up to the current episode I bing listened to this podcast everyday! The main arc is fantastic and all the smaller games are so fun to listen to. After listening to all the current content I purchased call of Cthulhu so me and my friends could play! Much love to cuppy cup and the rest of the crew for the hours are amazing and hilarious content! Also Join The Patreon it’s awesome! Shall we Ride?
-
CleTheNaturistIronyI gave this series a review before but that was long ago and I wanted to update it to be more succinct. Everything about this series is great and it’s a big part of how I stayed sane until I left college.
-
WyolaskanLoving This!I arrived late to the party, around episode 14 or 15. But that didn’t stop my wife and I from getting enveloped into this tale! She even got me a Call of Cthulhu set for our Femur Mist Anniversary!
-
wookiee1978A holy grail of mythos probabilityThis is by far one of the best parts of my day. I spend many hours on the road in the healthcare field and this makes the stress of Covid-19 patients seem to just wash away. You’re an inspiration to my desire for COC knowledge.
-
TexjbqPretty GoodNever played RPG, never listened to one either. Stumbled on this and gave it a shot. I’m halfway through episode four and am hooked. Production value is fantastic.
-
Craig. TFantastic podcastAll around excellent podcast. The dynamics between the group are fun to follow as they develop and blossom through the campaign. The lore is well written and it’s delivery by CuppyCup is even better. Also there’s a giant camel and who doesn’t love that?
-
Nate1975ttttGreat Fun!What’s wild ride! Between the wonderful storytelling by Cuppy and the hilarious hijinks of the cast, this is the BEST actualplay pod out there and I try and tell someone new about it every day
-
RhomulusBonhamGreat FunI’m still relatively new to the world of RPG podcasts/shows. I’m about 7 episodes in and love this. Their chemistry is great with them feeding off each other. Their choices lead to some great content and Cup does a great job of keeping them from going off the rails without being over handed. Just a great time all around.
-
bfevans_19This show has been an unexpected delight!I had never heard of this show, and was just browsing through my podcast reader looking for new RPG shows to check out when I happened to find Ain't Slayed Nobody. I decided to give it a try and see if it was a good fit, and I was hooked straight away. It has great audio quality from the first episode and all of the players are engaging and commited to their characters. The keeper is also very talented at weaving a story and using the rules to inform the plot, rather than to control it. If you like Call of Cthulhu and the Weird West, Ain't Slayed Nobody is a show that you are definitely going to enjoy.
-
ISwearItIsntCupDefNotCupWhat more is there to say? An excellent keeper and funny cast playing a TTRPG set in the Wild West. Definitely worth the listen.
-
VoidWyvernkinA Modern twist on the Wild West with Lovecraftian themesIve really enjoyed the show and splurged through it. I’m absolutely in love with the narrative and Cups adaptation of the setting. The cast are quirky and full of laughs- and when things get real, they react in kind. I’ve been wanting to to play call of Cthulhu and as a game master of multiple systems so I decided to become a keeper as this show inspired me to follow up on it. Already got players lined up- Thanks again cast ain’t slayed nobody. You are all amazing
-
Q10fanaticLaugh out loud funny, every time! So, CuppyCup wrote out the basic outline of an Old West revenge story (but with monsters in the background). Now, a bunch of hilarious actors fill in the details with absolutely no respect for his work, one episode at a time.
-
ethanthejEldritch horrors with a laughA fantastic Lovecraftian nightmare journey expertly helmed by...Cuppy Cup?? Not sure I spelled that right. Anyway, aside from his inability to say “wolf” properly, the dude’s keeper skills are sublimely twisted and perfect for the setting. Just binged the entire main arc so far and bummed I have to wait another few days to find out what happened next. F’htagn! Listen with eldritch non-Euclidean glee- and throw these guys some coin on Patreon if you can.
-
trist10So much fun! It’s a wild ride, full of twists and fun characters! The storyline is paced pretty well, although it’s been a little over a year to get a week in the story, it keeps me waiting for the next episode.
-
Seth A993Love it!Love the podcast! Serious when it needs to be and funny most other times. Binged it when I first found it and can’t wait for more.
-
Jesssssssss!Truly amazing showFound out about y’all from the Stream Of Blood and I’m obsessed. I love the setting and characters and the players and GM are fantastic. Y’all are also hilarious and have gotten some legitimate belly laughter out of me. This is one of the best TTRPG shows out there. Can’t recommend this podcast enough. 5 out of 5 “Yea-Haws!” -Jess
-
MrLanceAWillisYou Guys are so great!I actually got into Call of Cthulhu because of a true crime podcast I also enjoy. I’ve been itching to try my hand as a keeper and really wanted to learn the ins and outs. Finding you guys was a true crit roll! Not only did you provide great oversight on how to manage and express the functions of the game, but you’ve done it in a way that was truly excellent and entertaining.
-
JFrankDrebinFun and funnyI had not heard of call of Cthulhu but I knew some of these people from Twitter so I tried it knowing it would probably be funny. Now I look forward to new episodes. If you are new like I was, I would suggest starting the main arc as it gives a needed intro to gameplay. I especially liked the Unland arc with Scott as the keeper and cup as a player. Good stuff.
-
henryetta robotchompsSimply amazing!!!This is amazing. I came around to this on episode 8 and I listened all the way through. My favorite podcast! Can’t wait until next episode!!
-
Big Buck RobelyCthulhilariousThe Ain’t Slayed crew is not your conventional live-play podcast. Cupp and his crew of rabble-rousers stay true to the dark mysteries inherent in Lovecraft’s work, but also inject tons of humor into the proceedings. Whether it’s a shirtless priest or a gigantic camel wandering the American Southwest, you never know what these erstwhile adventurers will encounter. Well-acted and with fantastic audio engineering to support it, this is the Cthulhu-themed podcast for you. They had me at “femur mist.” And have I mentioned Jeremiah ... 😀
-
Matt Mason 0817HilariousThis is an amazing show. Jeremiah is by far my favorite character in the show
