You remove the celebrity veil to reveal that no matter how you grew up and how rocky the road traveled has been tragedy and unfortunate circumstances don’t have to define you and mistakes made by our parents raising us aren’t going to be the mistakes we make with our children!! I have a huge respect and admiration for both Katey and Kurt and their talent. I love that they are making these interviews more personal by doing a deep dive on their guests to find out things about them that may not always get talked about. I love the format and content of this program. Katey and Kurt interview people in their home. It is focused on the people themselves and not what they do, but who they are. It also false my favorite food, pie. Lemon meringue in case anyone wants to send me one.

Dear Katey & Kurt, I adore your approach to this podcast! Great to be able to hear your voices (as yourselves) every week. The best thing I’m noticing is that you’re giving us a chance to realize how we can easily relate to each other’s struggles in life, no matter what our jobs are. Not just another “interviewing celebrities” podcast. I’m picking up ways of coping with feelings/grief through experiences shared by you and your guests. This is very helpful and unexpected. Just one request, if you have Theo on your podcast, (and that would be wonderful) maybe offer him cake, instead. 😊
