    High quality, variety of perspectives
Good quality discussions, amazing range of experts and perspectives. Roifield does an admirable job of keeping discussions respectful and yet also stimulating of thought and insight.

    Stimulating Conversations
Roifield’s podcasts never fail to stimulate some of the stagnant parts of my brain. (Not medical advice). The guests are engaging and Roifield knows how to make complex issues digestible. I would say I enjoy them with a nice cup of Cafe con Leche, but to respect the host, I’ll have some English tea.

    All around great podcast
A pleasant and informative listen. Great host.

    Intelligent and mellow
Roifield Brown is both intelligent and mellow. He manages to go deep into the subject and make the time that you spent listening worthwhile and educational, but he is mellow enough to make it all fun as well.

    Always Fascinating & Informative
Roifield conducts great interviews and facilitates some of the best conversations. A must-listen for facts, nuance, humanity, intellect, humor, and grace.

    Great Conversations!
Really love the spaces Roifield create. Wonderful conversations. They are civil and go places. Highly recommend.

    Compelling global politics discussions
Pytor has a masterful command of humans from their rhetorical inclinations to their political leanings to their sociological herd mentality to the individual psyche thus well-armed to host interesting discussions about the podcast’s already wide-ranging manner of topics. It’s the next step in these often mentioned but infrequently credibly discussed topics. Hats off to the guests selected for they also inhabit this same attitude of reasoned, credible, empathetic discussions.

The best balance of news out there.
Roifield always hosts a civil, thought-provoking conversation with an eclectic range of guests each episode. If you only listen to one political podcast, do yourself a favor and make it this one.

    It’s not impossible
Roifield is able to congregate different people with different backgrounds and options and still make the best debates with knowledge and plurality without polarising the space. GENIUS TOTAL GENIUS

    Required Listening
If only we could eliminate the talking heads on the non-stop brainwashing tv and radio programs and replace them with this type of political discussion.

    Love the podast
Roifield puts together an interesting panel every episode. I do like to contrast and compare where the US is compared to the UK on many issues. I have really enjoyed the recent Focus on Ukraine.

Well done introducing the Ukrainian conflict
Thank you for introducing this difficult and complex matter in a way that is understandable and deep perspective.

    Appalling ignorance
“It’s inconceivable that the United Kingdom or the United States would take in 1 million brown people…” Those words were spoken by the host in the recent Germany new government episode. Is that right? According to Pew, “… European, Canadian, and other North American immigrants making up only a small share of the foreign-born population (13%) in 2018. Asians (28%), Mexicans (25%), and other Latin Americans (25%) each make up about a quarter of the US immigrant population…” That foreign-born population totals nearly 50 million people. Pew’s breakdown suggests that the number of brown people taken in by the US is not less than 1 million, it’s over 35 million. How in the world can this podcast operate with a host so ignorant about a topic as important as immigration? It’s stunning.

Would be better if there wasn’t so much interrupting and talking over each other
It’s ok but it is very frustrating to listen when there are constant interruptions from the panelists and talking over each other. Especially Emma - could you please be quiet and let the other person finish their point?! This alone has made me unsubscribe from the podcast The episodes with just one guest are infinitely better than the ones with the full panel.

    Progressive politics
The commentators and the topics covered offer a progressive slant to American and British politics. You don't have to be deep into the weeds of US politics to appreciate the knowledge, passion and warmth of the commentators. In a world of Trump this is an antidote to the politics of the ignorant.

    Great Show
This podcast is ecellent. It is thoughtful, and well produced. I enjoy seeing events though a European perspective. For me, it is like watching BBC News in America, great to see how events are presented and interpreted from another perspective, and to see parralles and differences 'across the pond'.

Not your typical current events discussion
Fascinating podcast that explores current events in the UK & America. Roifield asks thought provoking questions & it's always an intriguing listen.

    Great Podcast
I really enjoy this podcast and have been listening since the start. It would be nice to have more views, but then too many voices would be too much. I just wish it was weekly. I'm sure if we can get more people listening, they would produce shows more often.

    Interesting but annoying background music
I enjoy the podcast but I absolutely cannot stand the constant music in the background. Also I wish the political views between the three were more diverse. However the differing American/British views on current events is fascinating and it is a well done podcast but that music is annoying.

    Highly Recommend
I love the informed exchange on current issues from the Mid-Atlantic contributors. Although I primarily listen for their take on current events, I have also thoroughly enjoyed their occasional explorations of the U.S./UK cultural relationship. Only complaint is that the episodes aren't more frequent. Finally, as an American who spent a few years at the U of Birmingham, I'd love to hear Roifield let loose with the Brummie accent in one of these episodes.

    Interesting News and Views
This is a good show, which gives opinions on issues from both a British or English perspective and an American one. Well worth a listen if you would like a fresh take on current events.

The “New” view on recent history of “today!"
This is a fantastic show & great discussion among these three; Roifield Brown, Rob Monaco & Mic Wright. I like the passion & banter they share with each topic. There insight and humor at times puts a unique twist on “new” history!

    A great new find
I love the concept of this show - tying in voices from the UK and the US to discuss various global issues. Really nice find AND that theme music is fantastic!
