    Disappointing
Rather shocking, this covert racism against white people. This is not Access and Opportunity, but how to suppress and hurt white people. Shocking.

The ‘who makes video games’ episode
Was fantastic… it’s great to hear how tech is positively disrupting hegemony! Keep up the good work and keep showing the industries how “thinking outside the box” is not only creative but also inspiring!

    Important Topics
Not only is Access & Opportunity covering the need to close the wealth gap in the United States, it features real people who are affected by the problems (and working towards solutions) in a compelling way. It also breaks down complex topics like block chain and student debt so that it’s easy for all listeners to understand. I’m left wanting to reach out and support the guests, and also to dig in and learn even more about barriers to wealth access.

How I Sean Pierre, became a screenwriter? Sean Pierre; I must first say I took the wrong path when I was a child. That’s how, I came up with the name RUFF CHILD FILMS. 1991 when I was 21 years old, I was sentenced to 17 years in Federal Prison. The year was 1993, I was sent to Atlanta Penitentiary at the age of 23. I was in the chow hall line, with two inmate friends from Memphis. A inmate from NY asked us a question, “How much money can you make with one sheet of paper?” The first inmate from Memphis said, “He will make $ 1,600.00. Sean Pierre; I said if he can make 1 million off 1 sheet of paper, I can make 2 million! The inmate from NY said, Get to work! I started writing poetry, three months later I started writing rap poetry. One day I was looking over my Rap Poetry, I seen that It was a movie. From that day, for 17 years, the only thing I could think about was writing screenplays. I’m happy to say, I did 17 years in Federal prison & I came home with 37 screenplays. I need more exposure to sell my screenplays! 2021 Hottest New Screenwriter Sean Pierre Has Over 30 Screenplays! Wonderful Podcast!
Thought provoking and insightful without becoming reptitvite. Carla Harris does an excellent job bringing each guest’s story to light. She asks the tough questions tactfully to elicit a deeper level of conversation than many host and moderators are willing to tackle. Hands down one of the best podcasts in my library!! 🙌🏽

    Avid follower
I have been following Ms. Harris since I first learned of her and her storied career in 2017. She is truly a pioneer, inspiration and leader. Her work with Morgan Stanley’s Inclusive Innovation and Opportunity Initiative is going to help direct capital towards underrepresented entrepreneurs who have yet to explore their true potential. I love this podcast and the stories that are shared, I will continue to apply the lessons that I learn from here to my everyday life.

    Outstanding content for investors
As an investor and avid podcast listener, I rarely come across digital content that actively promotes investment toward women and multicultural owned businesses. I am grateful for Carla’s fresh perspective and ability to fill that void. Excellent podcast.

    Uniquely Thoughtful & Engaging
Carla Harris’s ability to not only find and highlight groundbreaking entrepreneurial stories but then to connect with them on a personal level is wholly unique. These conversations lead to impactful takeaways that no other podcast has done on this scale before. Great planning, production and execution of the vision we heard in the June trailer. Nothing Like It!
This is such great content and there is nothing like it out there. The guests as well as the topics have been so informative. It dispels the myth that there are no / minimal returns when you invest in small businesses and / or communities of color. I really enjoyed listening to this playbook and can’t wait to listen in on the rest of the season!

    Incredible Content!
When I listened to the first episode I was captivated by Rich Dennis’ story and the grit he demonstrated throughout his ascendance from a Harlem 125th street vendor to a powerful CEO. The host, Carla Harris, is uniquely talented in her ability to pull beautiful vignettes and anecdotes from the guests on her show. I would highly recommend this show in general, but in particular think this content is a huge value add to anyone interested in entrepreneurship and or community development.
