The stories from the past are pretty interesting but this guy is way down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole. Definitely shows his lack of intelligence on the most recent episode. Also, it makes me question the authenticity of his street stories if he’s not able to think for himself.

Always find it funny how mob snitches like John complain about how other mob rats. He’s literally on a podcast flapping his gums about things he has no business talking about publicly. This guy isn’t even Italian, just an Albanian wanna-be with a rehearsed accent. MobTube is an embarrassment.

Hey guys, enjoy your show was just wondering if you would consider turning John’s make up a little bit? I find myself turning up the volume to hear what he saying and then when Felix comes in the volume spikes and it’s pretty bad at times. This dude is so full of it his eyes ought to be brown. Everything that comes out of his mouth is crap. Not worth listening to.

I enjoy hearing the life stories of everyone on the show and their guests. Heartbreaking that history repeated itself over and over. If you reach one person you’ve accomplished a lot. Keep up the positive message for those who may be a little lost right now.

Is there no honor and loyalty anymore. You took an oath of silence and you talk. YOU made the decision to join. YOU need to face the consequences.

Guy got ran out of ny. He’s a rat

I can’t believe any thinking person who is a serious student of Cosa Nostra - or even one with slightly more than a passing interest - would take Alite seriously. But apparently some do. One poor simple, fatuous wretch essentially wrote a book about him. Oh well, at least he got paid to write it. I should have gotten paid to read it instead of being sufficiently silly lay out twenty or thirty dollars (or whatever that book of fantasy and fiction cost) for the dubious privilege.

Some of the episodes are missing on apple podcast. I can only see back to #11 but also random ones are missing as well

I have a soft spot for organized crime podcasts but this one is just not fun to listen to. The audio sounds terrible at times to where I can't hear Mr. Alite talking clearly. Even though there are interesting tidbits in the interviews, the interviewers and interviewees tend to interupt one another frequently and they talk over one another a lot which is absolutely unprofessional and annoying.

Felix tries to sound official but the “uhm’s and you know“ are so unprofessional. Preaching how to avoid and escape the “life” is a good message but then you are selling a bat. Seriously bragging throughout all the episodes about the money is not the message. We made 30k a week and you shouldn’t. We chopped and made millions but you should not. Loaded with stories that are probably half truths. Some of them about people who are known but overall almost all dead.

John is so true blue NYC & The Life. Love his positive message, proving anyone can change & turn their life around for the better, no matter what.... Lar MazZa needs to be on once a week

The stories told on this podcast are fantastic! The hosts are authentic fun to listen to. I don’t know if it’s possible but I’d love to hear some stories about the Larocca Family who were based in Pittsburgh/Ohio. Keep up the great work

I’ve read & heard so much on the mafia, it’s always fascinated me. John, you are such a hero of mine. I love listening to the way you tell your story. You truly are an amazing soul. Love this podcast!!!!!

I love how all these fake tough guy “mafia members” all talk about not being a rat and how that’s the worst/lowest form of a man and yet they are all rats. Not only rats but rats with pod casts now. Aren’t you suppose to get “whacked” for ratting? So is the mafia just soft now or are these just a bunch of fabricated tall tales? Much taller than the person telling them... haha

I’m really into The history of the five families and this podcast is great. It’s not just historians speaking but actual insiders in the life.

These gentlemen give a good mix of showing their listeners the truth behind the organized crime lifestyle and a path towards redemption. I feel like John and Gene wrestle a lot with their pasts, and to move forward. These are real people, discussing real crimes, and looking for a real path towards God’s Kingdom.
