I heard of this podcast by listening to Leroy’s brother on Marooned and Dark Topic. Very happy to find this intriguing. Funny everything you’re looking for especially if you’re on a road trip or just wanna listen.

It is a nice break from the hardcore true crime podcasts that I usually listen to. The dad jokes are hilarious and the stories are pretty humorous too. Keep it!!

LEROY!!! i cannot express enough about how much i love your pod, i know it's tough goin, and i am sorry to hear of your recent loss. i lost my pop some 30 years ago and ... hearing of your loss, brought back some of my own hurt, but it gets better! and your father will always be a part of you, and tho im an a stone-cold atheist, id like to think my pop is somewhere up in the clouds, as well as your pop, watching us and guiding us... perhaps silly but please don't stop the pod! i oughta write in w some of my own petty crime confessions 😏 one of these days....

As a fellow aging human i have many regrets and questions about life and who I owe my time to—but a show like this lets you shake off any expectations and just enjoy pure imagination reminiscent of PeeWee times while touching on reflections deep and empathic in this light hearted true crime show. Never knowing when is the right time to laugh only to realize it’s always the perfect time—this is my favorite find in a long while. Thank you for your honesty Leroy I can’t wait to find out more! UPDATE “JandE” lol that just me over the edge!!! I don’t download but started just for this show and tell every poor soul who happens to say “podcast” in earshot about this gem. Thanks Leroy!!

I was so disappointed. I heard great things about your show so I decide to listen. First podcast I listened to had a story at the end about your dad throwing boiling water at a bird. Your comment my was somewhere along the line “the bird didn’t die but it squawk “ and you chuckled. Will not support someone who thinks it’s funny to harm animals because that’s exactly what it was. Burning an animal over a hamburger patty. Disgusting.

Great way to get away from heavy topics

I really enjoy listening to you. Your voice kinda reminds me of my deceased husband. Not in any 1:1 way. But he had this 3am sultry radio announcer voice and you have a very easy to listen to voice that makes me miss him still - even more. I won’t say you really make me laugh; but nothing makes me laugh anymore - not since he died. But I can almost feel myself thinking about wanting to smile about some of the things you say and that’s a bit like relieving anxiety & a little like almost smiling on the inside — so thanks.

Praying for you. Go easy on yourself. It takes time to process such a loss.

I just found your podcast and I absolutely absolutely love it! The humor in it is hilarious. I like to listen to it when I’ve had way too much True Crime for one day. I believe you’re Jack’s brother who has the sexiest voice in all of podcasting, but your voice is soothing and always makes me chuckle. Leroy, your awesome!! I’m a true crime fan and my husband is not, he asked me to put on something funny and I played your podcast, your humor is right on our level. When I need a break from all the murder and mayhem I know we can always jump in the van with you for a good time and get away!! Keep it up!

I apologize for not having anything riveting to say, except I love this podcast. Funny crimes, lots of puns and jokes and Leroy is a delight. Not recommended for lame people with no sense of humor.

I did not think I’d like this, and I rarely, if ever, leave reviews, but this is a gem. There is no question it is supposed to be lighthearted and fun (hence the subject of my review), and that was exactly what I needed when I stumbled upon it, and I very much appreciate Leroy’s style. Great story teller! I’d be happy to continue to listen to this and anything else Leroy decides to produce.

Just listened to a sample of this on one of my usual podcasts. I think the host thought he was funny but I just found him to be rude. Not at all a relaxing listen.

A nice break from heavy true crime. Having the ability to laugh at people doing stupid things is great! Keep the stories coming. Adding in after a year of listening - I no longer get excited to see new episodes. I don’t know when the show took a turn but it’s no longer what it was.

Once while working as a Seattle Police Officer I beat someone (not a white guy) to death with my crank pipe. When I filled out my report I said I had a dead battery… get it? A dead battery? 😂 Just kidding. What are you victims of police brutality even doing listening to a podcast? Not to mention being alive and not doing some time? And another thing… why in a hypothetical prison scenario is Leroy automatically playing the victim? Seriously? It’s imaginary. And that’s the first thing he imagines is another guy up in him? I’ll tell you what Leroy, we ain’t even gotta go to prison…. If you know what I’m saying….

The best and funniest podcast! I have had some bad days but when I get to listen to this podcast it brightens my day and I forget about all the other crap I have been dealing with! Thanks!!!!

I absolutely love this podcast. Leroy and the crazy stories he tells each episode crack me up. He seems like such a relatable and down to earth person. It’s also nice to hear the lighter, crazier, side of crime, rather than the heavy stuff,

I’m always looking for balance in my life. Between Jack and Leroy, I have found it. Jack bringing me to deep despair and Leroy lifting me up. Great job bros.

As a crime junkie I enjoy listening to this guy for “bone head” stories and laughing.

Very well done. Super fun and different stories…ones you don’t usually hear. It’s not always family friendly but not everything has to be. Great show!

Some of the humor is inappropriate to be listening with someone else unless you’re really comfortable with them.
