Fungi fungusLast podcastHey idiots… we know they survived their injuries. Don’t think they are speaking from the grave. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Karaski24Exploitative and DisrespectfulThis podcast is an absolute mess. The hosts clearly don’t care about the victims or their families—they’re just cashing in on tragedy. They constantly derail the discussion to talk about themselves, and their annoying banter makes it impossible to take the show seriously. The male host in particular gives off deeply unsettling vibes, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he had some predatory behavior beneath the surface. If you want a show that treats these cases with respect, look elsewhere.

Marcus the Horror Show LoverBest showThis show brings me to the edge of my seat! I love the show and how it utilizes body cam footage, audio tape readings, and other ways to make the reader feel like they were there!

Another SuperproI look forward to every FridayI have listened to every single episode. I love how Courtney and Colin go very in depth into the backstory of the life of the victim and the killer. I think we all wonder “What makes someone do something like this?” and they go all in all the way back to their childhood. The devil is in the details as they say. Sometimes it’s late Thursday night, sometimes it’s it Friday morning, so I really look forward to Friday morning when I can put in my ear buds and take 90 mins to listen to a well told, detailed story. Sometimes so much detail that it’s Part 1 Part 2
-
Mamita2010Amazing!This podcast is extremely well put together! Great job you guys! Don’t change a thing!! I especially like the attention to the detail and the voices used to narrate the story. I highly recommend this show to everyone out there! Thank you!

Snatchy LopezBoring useless infoLet the families remember victims. Victims are a dime a dozen. I wanna hear about the killer.

sillyinfinityBrutally necessaryHey, y’all! I absolutely love this podcast! This young couple does an incredible job! Their research is impeccable, their writing and production is top notch, and they give such a vivid perspective on what these atrocities are like for those who have tragically endured them. I especially feel that, in the wake of the exponential rise in mass shootings, this podcast should be mandatory for our politicians to listen to. Honestly, they submerse you in the horror of it all in such a sophisticated way. I think the issue with our callus insensitivity to the numerous tragedies we hear about is due to a lack of empathy or sheer comprehension of what this must feel like. This pair does their best to show compassion, put you in the shoes of those who have endured such devastation, and does it with great professionalism. I look forward to this podcast every Friday. This is certainly not a podcast for the faint of heart. It is often very brutal and can be difficult to listen to if you’re not accustomed to such content. However, as an avid true crime consumer, I appreciate what I assume is an endeavor to share these stories in the interest of informing and shocking the public in an ethical way. How can we remedy such horror without understanding it? Clearly, not at all. Thank you Colin and Courtney for your efforts to expose how broken our society is and trying to inform our blissfully naive communities of the importance of acknowledging and seeing these horrors so we can hopefully do our best to legislate and support efforts to avoid and prevent them. I see you, I appreciate you. Much love!
-
LeeLizHenI love this show!I really love that they are able to discuss details while also being respectful to the victims. Truly different from every other true crime podcasts in the best way

ChffhtfvubibdvdhbjnughfhfOne of the BEST!My wife and I love the show and have a pantomime hand-jive to the theme song. We often joke that Colin made good use of his mini Casio keyboard. Courtney has a perfect voice and delivery for this genre. Well researched shows and great organization of the story. By far our favorite crime/murder podcast. You’ll love this show - “you have been warned.”
-
Smiley9702Great podcast!I just started listening to this podcast almost 2 weeks ago and listening to them in order, I’m already on episode 59! I can’t stop listening! Great job Court and Colin!!

-
YurMomsChestHair23The best true crime podcastLove this podcast. They stick to the case don’t skip any details. No side pointless conversation. The sound effects and reenactment of interviews and stuff is a nice touch. Definitely the best true crime podcast.
-
lowa22Love this podcast…But please stop with the “quote” “end quote” all the time! I noticed Collin doesn’t do it, only Courtney.
-
olive and lexicoListen nowSo well researched. If you love the details, this one is for you. Love the fact based reporting- even with seemingly insignificant details. Facts and informed opinions. A plus.
-
Truecrime foreverAmazing showThis is truly an amazing show, so many good details and really allows the story to be heard even with the horror that these stories are. The hosts are amazing

-
BobgjudvStop telling us about your podcastAfter hearing about your podcast every episode and the same commercials I’m a little annoyed. I’d like to listen without you interrupting yourself to advertise something I followed the first time I heard it. But the amount of times and where it’s mentioned is just blunt.
-
Laurieannie11Five StarsInteresting show. Great voices!! Thanks Colin and Courtney!
-
Charitie Hartsig5 starsExcellent work!
-
YourThirdNutgraphic titles for no reason“r*ped and murdered on her 10th birthday is just a nasty name, what reason is there to be this graphic? i get it’s a show about this kind of stuff but jesus Christ

WolfxgodStarted out great then they got lazyThis podcast started out great. then they got lazy and started using clips. That half the time are unintelligible. It’s just a shame that more and more podcast nowadays are going down this route.
-
LemonLopsExploitiveThis podcast is super exploitive and sensationalized. They play audio sounds with “stabbing noises” and screams. Collin and Courtney also like to sensationalize the stories, often adding grey details and saying things like “___ was so scared and I wonder what her last thoughts were”.The podcasters also seem to love inserting themselves into cases. They took evidence on the pretense of just helping pack up some things and then expected the police to use it as evidence. Collin constantly bringing up the paranormal aspect of these victims too feels so exploitive.
-
Evilives12Very interestingNot a big fan of the women’s voice but trying to let it grow on me 💛
-
GhubjsdGreat jobAmazing!! Listen every day. Keep up the good work.

LaurgustinMIA 10/10Hands down my new comfort show. I look forward to this every day.
-
Tiffany FrancesAmazingIve been listening to them since they started! I look forward to each episode ❤️
-
JannaMarie55Decent enough but cheeseThis podcast has covered some unique cases, but they tack on excessive opinions and transitions that come off very cheesy. “Who would’ve guessed”, and “it’s hard to imagine what victim was thinking” have been said multiple times in a single episode. They are respectful of their victims otherwise, they just make a lot of filler statements instead of simply telling the story.
-
Pita6977.Great Episode and thank you for making Debbie’s truth be told.
-
Jay26.2Emily PikeThank you for sharing Emily’s story. You provided more information about the case than I’ve heard or read. We need national attention on her murder.

SftifosoYellow JournalismWhile this show had moments of fascination and great shows, it mostly resorts to yellow journalism and rage bait. True crime is something that can bring to light the plight of victims the failings of the criminal justice system to both victims and suspects , but this podcast fails at both. In more than one podcast they have spoken about the plight of SA victims and cases brought and declined by a prosecutors office and how these victims are being failed. However they leave out the nuance of a skilled investigator or prosecutor. What they bring is social justice warriors without the understanding of real justice. In their story of the native hovels in New Mexico they talk about how something like 2/3s of cases are declined by the United States Attorney’s office and all those victims never receive justice. This is disingenuous at best and malicious at worst. Using their figure of 1000 reporting victims. Some percentage will be true victims, some will be liars and some cases you have real victims without enough evidence to proceed. In the case of the later it is better to defer the case until you have enough evidence rather than ruining the chance of the perpetrator never being held accountable. In the case of people who lie about being victims this shouldn’t be overlooked as this podcast does because it disadvantages all victims Mostly this show uses superlatives and rage bait as opposed to actual investigative journalism to enrich themselves on the backs of others misery

RemiRaneOne of my top 3 favesThis podcast quickly became one of my top 3 faves. Interesting and accurately detailed stories, no unnecessary or annoying side conversations, no unwarranted or unwanted personal opinions or political views. Just good story telling of true crime.
-
Drama listenerGoodI like it but I only liked on episode 200 Jerry bell serial killer
-
Matt_B_WStopped listening due to hostess’ annoying fake pronunciation. Why do so many podcasters feel they need a “trademark” voice? Her contrived, cartoonish child’s voice makes listening for long impossible. What’s with the fake “r” pronunciation?
-
Kare-Bear4444SO INTERESTING!!Absolutely love listening to this podcast is different from others Courtney and Collin do an amazing job telling the stories while having sound affects that makes you feel like your living in the story! aec0107New FavI have been an avid true crime podcast listener and documentary enthusiast for years. I’m new to this podcast and have listened to 8-9 episodes thus far. I really enjoy the thorough research, respectful storytelling, and non-bias reporting. Many true crime podcasts have become filled with giggling and banter, which feels disrespectful to the victims and their families. This podcast is told in a respectful manor without the personal anecdotes and “chatter” when discussing horrific tragedies. Will definitely recommend to others and continue to listen!
-
VoiceFromThePastIt’s okayFor the most part, I’m alright with the podcast. I enjoy that the show goes over more current cases, offering a lot of fresh content. There seems to be a lot of good research that goes into the episodes, some great investigative reporting. The sound effects can offer an immersive quality, but they can sometimes come off as cheesy. Unfortunately though, the narration is far too flat. Then, the parts that address the listener directly, they come off in an almost preachy way. There is also a lot of repetition, which I find odd given that it’s scripted narration. I’d like it if they’d at some point try to do a few episodes where they spoke about the topic with each other rather than scripted out.

Brittney1221Love love love! Great storytelling and amazing voices!I’ve never really been into podcasts until this was recommended to me by a friend. I am a big fan of true crime and I’ve gotta say Courtney and Colin are the best storytellers. They really go into depth and bring you into the story. They are very respectful and mindful to the victims they discuss. Also they have great voices. I literally wait by my phone for new episodes every Friday. Keep up the good work yall!

Brooke BilderbackRESEARCHED, HONEST & UNCENSOREDI try to never have expectations when starting a new podcast, because most of them are grossly overrated. BUT Murder in America is FAR from overrated. You can tell right off that Colin and Courtney do massive amounts of research about each and every case that they cover. The cases that they cover are so detailed I feel that I am an expert on each case by the end. We’re hearing actual quotes from witnesses, perpetrators and victims. We’re hearing sound excerpts from trials, news reports and, not to mention, creepy fitting background music. Each intense, uncensored, detailed portion is presented with a warning beforehand allowing the audience to choose to listen to the details or not to listen to the details. But in a world FULL of censorship, I find the uncensored pieces of each story extremely refreshing. THANKS COLIN AND COURTNEY!
-
puppet nonsenseOne problemI just started this podcast in chronological order and have to say that I find the tone-deaf, paranormal ending to be profoundly disrespectful.
-
MerithvLove this showLove them I fall asleep to their podcast ❤️

Kmo71276Phenomenal Reporting but sometimes it sounds like you’re sympathizing with the evil doer - 🤮First, I just wanted to say that both of your voices are sooo soothing to listen too! Second, your stories are second to none as they are so thorough and put together so well!! If I were your teacher I would give you both A+++’s!!! I’ve listened to a million true crime podcasts and yours truly stands out among the very finest!! Keep up the great work!!

-
Shanimal79My all time favorite podcast!!!I love your content, your flow, and I especially love how brutally detailed you guys get with some of the episodes! So many podcasts leave out the disturbing parts because it’s too “triggering” but I love being triggered because it makes me feel like my life is a walk in the park and I have it all together. I hope you both continue your podcast forever because I’ve listened to almost every single episode and I can’t get enough of you guys! I especially love your voices. There’s so many podcasts I want to listen to but I just can’t tolerate the way the hosts speak or the pace. This is literally one of the only podcasts that I can listen to all day and I appreciate all the hard work you both put in to every episode!!
-
AdnamayakMispronounced WordsI love the show but so many words are mispronounced, which distracts listeners, calls into question your credibility, and can be perceived as disrespectful. Today you mispronounced the Native American tribe Navajo. Instead of the correct NAA-vuh-ho, you said Nuh-VA-ho. Really?! If unsure, just ask Google how to pronounce unfamiliar words.
