    Captivating
A beautiful expression of simplicity and imagination. I wish there was more

    Outstanding!
I listened to the entire season on a Sunday morning. It drew me in, made me laugh and cry; excellent writing and story! I’ve listened to many different sci fiction podcasts and this one stands out as one of the very best. Great job!

    Good overall
The story was interesting and overall good. It could have probably been built out more. Occasionally it was hard to visualize what was going on. But the profanity feels really out of place and unneeded. Thanks to the team for putting in so much effort.

I thought this was an incredible podcast.
Please don’t tell me it’s over though :-(. But I loved it!

    Space
I like this one a lot. Drew me in right away. I can’t wait for the next episode. I really, really wish they were longer. That’s my only negative. Updating…now my issue is it’s over. Noooooo…please do more episodes in this universe!

    Bro has no chill😂
Some of it is really good but the huffing and puffy breathing and screaming are too much good lord it’s literally 80 percent of the episode🙄🙄. Also the half slobbered sentences are STUPID ANNOYING And the constant screaming?? I find myself skipping through a lot of it😕 Also the little girl is too sad😩

    Good concept, poor transitions
I really want to give this series a better rating. The story and concept is good. The problem is the scene transitions and action sequences are poorly implemented. At times all you get are noises with no explanation or story items to make it understandable what happened.
  • FlyersNfillies
    Ok
    Tough to follow what’s happening.

Seems a bit unhinged for an Astronaut
This could be really good, but it’s hard to believe Owen’s an astronaut with how he’s always crying, dropping F-bombs, and flipping out. Then Clementine seems completely sheltered, more childish than believable, especially with how much Owen cusses. The quality of the podcast audio events are pretty amazing though.

    Interesting storyline, excessive sound effects
As others have noted, the sound effects are definitely on the nose, I’d really prefer not having Owen gurgle and pant directly into my ear every few minutes or scream at the top of his lungs. This show could take more inspiration from shows like X Minus One, which perfected the Scifi radio story.

Why does he cry so much?!?
This podcast has a lot of potential but the whining and crying is so annoying.

    Super good….
Butttttttt super short eps. Then the ad strait out of nowhere kills it. Still good though.

    Where’s season 2
These podcasters take forever to bring in a new show 🙄

    Stop screaming you wimp
OMG - thankfully real astronauts never scream like the subject character of this podcast. It’s so distracting that paying attention to the story is next to impossible. I gave up after 5 episodes. I’d much rather read it instead of expecting a bad voice actor to be a real actor who recognizes that screaming serves no purpose…in every situation.

    Awesome podcast
Have had this podcast for a while but didn’t get a chance to get to it. Binged the whole thing in a morning and can’t wait until the next episode comes out. Definitely worth a listen.

    Phenomenal Podcast
The writing and sound design of this podcast is excellent. New episodes take a while to come out, but it seems like that’s due to budget constraints. Hang in there because it’s worth it! Thank you to everyone who works on this podcast. It’s incredible!

    Where is the finish?
It was supposed to be 12 episodes. There is only 11. Evidently Owen swallows a pill. His daughter tells him to cough it up. The End. Hmm.

    Huffing and puffing
Lots of huffing and puffing, yelling and random loud noises. Given the months and months between releases this just feels so incomplete, it is challenging to follow the story. The sick kid trope is agonizing and I have come to skipping it mostly. Halfway through ep 10 and I cannot even finish this. I am sure tons of effort was put in but a more coherent story and a tighter release would have helped immensely. But really, so much breathing noises.

Where is the rest of it?
It’s amazing but there is nothing after #9. 😩

    Stunning voice acting
The introduction is crazy I hope there is more coming
  • Nancyyychaaa
    Ok, could be better.
3 stars for good production but overall, It’s ok. Story is a bit hard to follow. I didn’t really get into it til after the first 3-4 episodes.

    Fantastic
    Absolutely insane

    Heavy breathing. Grunting. Screaming.
This is a really good story. Really good. It is somewhat nerfed by the constant screaming, grunting, and panting. I get it’s a recording of his experience, but it’s so overdone it distracts from the story.
  • MontanaMan40
    Plz finish
Very good! Hope it gets a good ending.
  • whatsthedatetoday
    Not bad not great
It’s kind of hard to follow, a lot of panting from the main character.
  • Stephanie Newest
    great voice acting
the one thing that is totally bothersome is that the episodes are only 10 minutes long. I just finished listening to episode 10 and I hope that’s not the last one because the ending isn’t explained. But I’ve really enjoyed listening to it. It kept my attention

    Like a movie
It’s like a movie I can’t wait to see again. There’s definitely not anything else like it. I audibly gasped several times—very exciting. I did find myself skipping thru the flashbacks with the kid. I don’t like overly sentimental stuff, and I don’t like to be sad.

It’s like art, for your ears. Very good, binged it all over two days. Can’t wait for the next episode!
  • rokitect
    New wave of narrative
It has a brilliant story perfectly conceived to splice into the audio format — characters with distinctive voices, professionally performed, and interesting immersive sound design. And it’s epic and creative in the best Asimov tradition. Just…wow!

Good show. Like acting. When more?
I’ve really enjoyed this show. Crazy sci-Fi that has me all confused. Can’t tell where we are going, but I love it. Hopefully this show doesn’t break my heart like most other shows that never find the finding to finish and leave me hanging. Off to support the show directly. Subscribe to realm+ also! Help fund these audio dramas also! P.S. might just be me, but try to get the sound cleaned up a bit so vocals are easier to here. Thanks!

    Art!
This podcast is quite beautiful! - And that voice actor…Damn! Seriously. This dude gives one of the best performances I’ve ever come across in the audio drama world — and I’ve listened to a LOT of them!

    Problems outweigh the good
First of all, 10 minute episodes? Seriously? If this podcast wasn’t so bad I might be more upset about how short the episodes are. The episodes themselves are mostly just a lot of loud beeping and screaming as the main character deals with his situation. It’s hard to tell what’s even happening as events unfold. You can piece it together with other context clues but it’s annoying. With only 10 min per episode you’d think they’d put a bit more emphasis on exposition and dialog to help listeners connect with the characters and understand what’s happening. Then there’s the flashbacks which is just such a lazy device to get your audience to care. The sick child trope is so trite and heavy handed. I’d rather be rooting for the main character for what they’re doing to further the plot than sympathizing with them because of some hackneyed flashbacks. Despite these issues the voice actor does a decent job and the production values are pretty good but these things are not enough to save this grating mess of a podcast.

    Been waiting since March!
Come on already where are new episodes? Been waiting since March for Episode 10!

    I could stop listening
I don’t normally like sci-fi, but this was awesome.

    Fun Ride
Good story, well produced. Am enjoying the show. The person complaining about slow episodes obviously never produced an audio drama!
  • Gabedalf
    Don’t hold your breath
The episodes take 4-5 months to come out each. If you are thinking about starting this show, don’t unless all 12 episodes are already released. Its an interesting story but the producer just doesn't seem to care about this show.
  • GregggggggO
    Excellent. Finally, some good scifi!
    Compelling, fast paced, great story.

    Good could’ve used an editor
Mostly great plot. A few rough patches but the plot of this one is pretty good. Does well with a minimal staff.
  • GigiNegieh
    Awesome!
Great story great presentation! One of my favorites so far.

    Yawn
I listen to a lot of narrative podcasts with sci-fi being my favorite and I listened to 6 episodes of this to give it a shot given the rave reviews, but jesus this was the most boring thing I’ve ever listened to. Gave two stars for the voice acting and production level, but the writing makes me want to go to sleep.
  • cmpad3
    Fantastic!!!
Absolutely phenomenal audio drama - the writing, the story, the production value, the acting! Oh my god, the acting!!! Can’t wait for more episodes!

    Riveting
The actor voicing the protagonist is very talented. With some other podcasts, I often find myself tuning out and forgetting to pay attention, so I end up rewinding and listening to the same section over and over. It seems to happen when there’s a lull in the plot tension and/or the voice actor isn’t drawing my attention very well. Neither of those things are happening in this story. The story is quickly paced and eventful, and the voice acting is superb.
  • SPNSherry
    Loving this one a lot
Loving this one a lot, can't wait for the next episide!
