Laughter-at-lawEntertaining, fun & educationalI love the way the stories are told. Your laughter and joy in your story telling is contagious. I love listening to you guys after a hard day dealing with a difficult client or a jerk of an opposing counsel.
-
AnddogsThe bestLadies, keep this up and we won’t be mad if you add ads and monetize (especially if it means more episodes!)
-
TatertotpugMy new obsession! This is my new favorite podcast. If you have any connection to law you will love this. Heck you will love it even if you don’t.
-
ganondorf50I really like the podcast but they are so random with updatesThe research is top notch but the amount they post is just so out there, weeks or even months between updates Solid content though
-
RockShrimpMissed you!I managed to find this podcast the week you went on hiatus so I burned through the back catalog and I’ve been waiting since then! So happy you’re back.
-
C.H. Loves EthicsMy Favorite Pod is Back!I was simply delighted when I left my house for my morning walk today and found a new episode of this podcast! Love these ladies and their sense of humor and missed them well on hiatus. If you have not listened to this podcast, do it immediately! As a lawyer, I get so much out of this. It’s my comic relief and unofficial ethics CLE.
-
MalskiMiss The Tales of Lawyers Behaving BadlyThis quickly became my favorite podcast. JJ and KD are so masterful at putting lawyers bad antics into an enticing story sprinkled with humor and sarcasm! Miss you guys! When will you be back?

Mikeat4112BewareI listened to the latest episode after hearing the podcasters on the How I Lawyer podcast, which I enjoyed. It was only after 44:30-ish minutes that they actually got to the actual subject of the podcast—which was interesting. The first part was like hearing the lunch conversation between two friends. You may enjoy that, but beware. Virtual “friendships” with people I will never meet isn’t for me. They are smart and lively, but who’s got time for this?
-
AndrewChieraChit chatCan yall please post in the description at what point n the podcast yall start talking the lawyers behaving badly? Also, I had no idea this was a political podcast. 🤮

SadieWombatIt came during the pandemic….…And when I started listening I had been brutally shoved out of a job (and quick quiz: Did they follow the podcasters’ advice and just say thanks, regret bad economy, bye, severance package, good luck? Or did they list a bunch of bogus and ADA barred reasons thereby leading to a longer severance than the firm would normally do? Bing! Talking talking talking talking their way into my attorney’s email!) So I was studying my toes, bingeing the Great British Baking Show, Therapeutic Garden Shopping, getting COVID, homeschooling a grumpy teenager, and looking for pure Schadenfreude! And behold … this gem of a podcast. You guys were/are on my “OMG an episode dropped, listen immediately” list. I’m the kind of person who was frantically pulling up anything possible on the ChatGPT lawyer “research” case in NY, so you can only imagine how perfect a find this was. So thank you for the laughs, for the newsy small talk/patter, the amazing stories, the openness about difficult subjects, even just hearing the way your voices are dripping with that "I have amazing hot hot tea" sound, like when a friend calls to tell you about the sudden disastrous troubles of a hated rival and you get that GIVE IT TO ME feeling, even though you're also slightly ashamed to be so gleeful! And in my new gig (finally!) to be able to say, "goodbye, imposter syndrome" is so helpful. Blessings on you for everything, please keep it up! and open a Patreon or similar so I can give you money! - no name b/c, you know, severance agreement!

AEM JonesMore useful than BARBRII ran out of current episodes from bingeing too aggressively, so I started from the pilot, having discovered the podcast only a few months ago. I am delighted that the tone and quality has been rock steady since day one. Listening to this podcast is like hanging out with the working mom friend group I have no time, energy, or capacity to find or keep. These women are delightful and hilarious and educational. Who do I contact for my MCLE Ethics credits, though?
-
incrediblemulcGo ahead, press play nowendlessly entertaining and only a matter of time until they go too far and are taken from us

Please- no nicknames 😊Time Shares in the Jersey coastThank you ❤️❤️ both Karen and Jennifer, for sharing your fun times exposing No Ethics situations, with us! You realize you both are educating all of America, right? What could be better than Taylor Swift sending you both, tickets for the VIP section for one of her concerts? Perhaps your fans could ask. I’ll go first! Thanks again!

GaelLawyerI Die Laughing Every TimeKP and JJ are absolutely hilarious. I stumbled across this podcast because I'm at a firm that JJ used to work for and I'm so glad I did. My wife (a non lawyer) and I (a lawyer) both love this podcast which says a lot about how informative and entertaining they are. You guys need to figure out how to monetize this podcast, I know a lot of people would subscribe immediately.

!!Ac!!Engaging hosts and entertaining subject matterI am in LOVE with this podcast…Theee best hosts- so down to earth and funny. It literally feels like sitting around listening to your best friends. The legal and ethical issues are compellingly narrated with great professional insight to give context (in a plain English way). I got here by accident, but I’m staying here on purpose. I’d pay pay pay for more content!!!
-
Flobri1973I’m addicted! Before this podcast I never even listened to one. That’s for old people and I’m not old! But I’m hooked. When I catchup I have no idea what I will do with my free time. Keep it up!
-
EmilyMMCLove this! This podcast had me after the FTX and Sam-Bankman Fried episodes, and now I eagerly await each installment. I cackle like a maniac walking my dog and listening every week!

sse1105I recommend to everyone! This podcast is not just for lawyers! Karen and Jennifer are both wonderful storytellers and research the heck out of their stories. They are also wickedly funny and have a great rapport with each other. My spouse (not a lawyer) has listened to a few episodes with me and loves them too. We both laugh out loud multiple times per episode.
-
jefjames777Very funny listeningGreat podcast. Love how they explain the legal aspects and complexity. Each episode I’ve listened to so far has made me laugh out loud and gasp in horror at least one time each.
-

-
GSurvivor GroupOutstanding podcast! This show is outstanding, for both lawyers and the less insane! Great chemistry, impeccable analysis, very funny, and a great time. And these stories help with any lingering imposter syndrome when you hear about those Larry Lawyers out there.
-
DKN667Should get ethics CLE credit for listeningIn-depth real world legal ethics horror stories. But more fun and engaging than that sounds.
-
jap815Love this Podcast! These women are the BEST. Funny, smart and charming, it's one of my favorite podcasts!!
-
Amy Mac Harber10/10 Recommend! This podcast is witty, well researched, thorough & yet entertaining and down-to-earth. KP & JJ do an excellent job balancing humor with shock/disgust at their subject matter and dissecting it in a listener-friendly for both legal & non-legal professionals. Listening has also definitely helped quash any trickle of imposter syndrome that seeps in from time to time because wow these Larry Lawyers are bad. Give it a listen!
-
j.duff.81KP and JJ loveKP and JJ are amazing. As another Lawma (and a peloton Lawma) their discussions are hilarious and cover topics relevant to my life and practice. They are the bestest! #FreeJimJimmerson
-
aehaldExcellentI find this pod throughly entertaining. I’m also blown away by the amount of research the presenters do for the stories. They make it sound fun and easy but stories this good and detailed take a lot of time and effort. Thanks for all the hard work so I can laugh to myself on my subway ride to work!
-
TXLawMom22THE BESTI met JJ and KP last week after they presented at a CLE where they absolutely killed! Now I have listened to 3 episodes and I am hooked!! So clever, entertaining, with such fascinating/ horrifying stories and omg are they FUNNY!!! I want to be their friend but I’m not cool enough!
-
Khelmar10/10, no notesGreat podcast, whether you’re a laywer or not. It’s like hanging out with a couple of funny friends who chat about life and then destroy crazy people.
-
ProsatiDelightfulI love this hilarious, horrifying podcast! Highlight of my week and the best bribe to get me out for a walk. Thank you for the fun stories and well researched scams!
-
GeriellenGotta “love” Larry LawyerAbsolutely my favorite podcast. They find a way to make me laugh even over the most venal scenarios. Their salty presentation and complete disbelief of the worst behaviors possible brings weekly joy to my life. I only hope they keep squeezing in the huge time needed to create new episodes. 👍👍👍👍
-
drydenscotFascinating. Look at the worst lawyers.I found this podcast on accident, and I just love it. I only wish there were more episodes. These hosts are entertaining, educational, and absolutely delightful to listen to. The stories they tell are insane, and their commentary is at once insightful and funny.
-
UT3LLike talking to hilarious and brilliant best friendsI’m obsessed with this pod. It is hilarious, fresh, and a highlight of every week for me. The hosts are super down to earth, engaging, and great at curating a perfect mix of hot toppies and bad lawyers to talk about each episode. Can’t get enough.
-
BV78572So hilariousThis is seriously the most fun podcast I’ve ever had the pleasure of hearing. It’s so hilarious and brilliantly planned. Thursday is my new favorite day of the week because that’s when new episodes drop!
-
Elocin100Like hanging with your (nosy) girlfriends! This is the only podcast I listen to! This is how I like to think my friends and I sound when we are hanging out and talking about law stuff. Always fun, always informational, often very funny. If you like law and you like to gasp out loud over lawyers doing what they really should never do, then do yourself a favor and listen.
-
Kaity89Absolutely hystericalI am a lawyer too and this podcast has me laughing out loud every single episode. Absolutely recommend.
-
kat128861Anxiously waiting for each episode! If you are a lawyer, or like lawyer shows, or have even seen a lawyer show on TV, this is the podcast for you! JJ and KP (as they call themselves) have created an absolutely hysterical podcast, I so look forward to listening every week, and then suddenly its over. It truly reminds me what an amazing job I’m doing as a trial attorney because I certainly am not doing any of the things they mention in their stories.
-
mbyertsA podcast that sparks joyEvery week, I seem to forget that there’s going to be a new episode. And then without warning it drops into my feed and I am instantly smiling. The combination of light hearted topics and more serious issues is simultaneously enlightening, hillarious and rage inducing. It makes one wish that you were cc’d on their group text chain.
-
Maxr1066Fantastic podcast, tons of fun to listen toThis is a fantastic podcast, tons of great info. They are very respectful and ethical in how they do this podcast with keeping names and places out of most of the stories. A must listen for any law student studying ethics or just a person who loves drama and gossip. If you are on the right of the political spectrum and are easily offended by people who are on the left don’t listen to this podcast. But even me, as a Republican, loves these stories and I don’t mind listening to some political opinions that I don’t agree with. 5 star out of 5 stars
-
trurl_klapauciusThe best!I’ve been listening to podcasts for nearly 20 years now (I realize this is more of a confession than a boast.) This podcast shows the very best of what this medium can be. Two genuine friends with expertise and humor gossiping about the fascinating, troubling, and hilarious antics of lawyers. A brilliant concept executed well. The show is entertaining and educational, but it also shines a light on serious social issues. The hosts are delightful while also being righteous. The target of their jokes is always people abusing power. Or themselves, because they’re self-aware and charming like that.
-
PLM fanHilarious and entertainingJust heard your latest pod and leaving my first ever pod review to help you out. Love your wit and banter. I feel seen. Keep up the great work, ladies
-
marette89More More MOOORREEEI’m on my last episode guys. I need more!
-
DISAPPOINTED SCAMSTERSHilariousI have never felt so competent as I do when I listen to this pod. The hilarious “bad law” stories coupled with the storytelling and law mom quips makes this a 10/10.
-
texdThe best law podcastIf I could give more stars I would. I can only assume that the 1-star rating they got is from a subject of their excellent tales.
-
lawmacoBest podcast out there!Hilarious, great storytelling, every episode feels like I’m lhaving drinks with my law mom friends. The only way this podcast could be better is if I could get CLE credit for listening because it’s waaayyyy better than any ethics seminar I have had to take!
-
Gcr501Great, informative, and entertainingThis profession is so messed up at time, but I’m glad we’ve got people who can illustrate how crazy it can be like this show.
-
PacingParalegalWhen you need a laughTheir giggling is infectious along with the leading questions they ask each other. I enjoy this podcast so much on days when I feel like an imposter in the legal system and full of self doubt.
-
