    Really Great David
I love how you started out chronologically and moved throughout! Really great! I had no idea about the Beatles thing with you were talking about and how they wanted to help the country heal from President Kennedy assassination! I’m as you move through the 60s in the 70s and explained the hi-fi craze I was deep in all of that! I probably got my first receiver, which was a Marantz that I wish I still had back in 71! Of course my system has evolved as has my vinyl collection but I did take the break for CDs, and when my daughter was born and I got married I basically box all my records up and put them in the garage. Thank goodness the wherewithal to put them in a cool, dry place and they were here waiting for me when I started back collecting about 10 years ago.! David, you lived in Chicago at that time you must’ve known about Pacific Stereo on Oak Street! I worked at that store! Small world!!!
