Long time listener. Love them but lately I feel like Gillian’s tone is just screaming the whole time and talks so fast. I want to say girrlll… breathe lol. My anxiety goes up when I listen now 😞

I just found this podcast and LOVE it! The hosts are so funny. I want to go watch more true crime shows just so I can listen to their takes on the shows!

I used to listen all the time and was a Patron. The yelling, feeling like I was listening on 2 x speed, know it all attitude and virtue signaling got to be too much. Sometimes I wonder if these two even like each other.

And so so fake. I still can’t get over how he treated Ellyn Marsh. My theory is he realized she was the talent AND the looks and got jealous 🤷‍♀️.

Very annoying to listen to. I tried to like these two but they are very hard to follow. She is not so bad but he laughs at everything. Not for me. Goodbye!

I loved their passion and humor. I loved the way they discussed the cases at hand and dragged the people who needed to be dragged. Now it sounds more like two people trying to talk louder and faster than the other for an hour. Does whoever finishes a sentence first (or loudest) win? Still funny, but no longer fun to listen to, at least for me.

I love these two so much, their dynamic and take on things is sooooo fun to listen to. It’s like hanging out with friends.

I was 7 or 6 and this kid in my class was sexually assaulting me on the bus for the hole year I was there and that the only punishment was he can not go to are school and I do soft ball and he was at me game so I was scared

A really fun true crime pod.

Do these 2 just yell over each other? He laughs at everything and not funny. Says a lot of “totallys” and constantly has breaks in the story so it’s hard to follow. Slow down, stop yelling and stop losing our attention.

I really like Patrick and his ability to look at all sides. Gillian however, goes on long-winded rants, jumps to conclusions, doesn’t allow Patrick to give anyone grace or disagree with her. She’s so hateful and divisive which isn’t helpful. She vilifies every opinion that isn’t her own. She’s trying so hard to make everything a statement on racism and demonizing every person trying to investigate. It’s exhausting—and I’m a person of color!! It used to be so much more light hearted and easy to listen to.

You apparently never read these. Why would you? We’re all monsters out here because no doubt our opinions differ from time to time. My family is 100% hillbilly, but GP is by far more backward and bigoted than anyone I know. Curious as to where the hate and division originates?

I used to really love this show, but things have changed as mentioned numerous times.

I go back and forth with this podcast. My biggest thing is it is SO hard to follow. They are CONSTANTLY making references to TV shows, broadway shoes, celebrities, just random things that most of us have no idea about. It gets so incredibly confusing. I feel like 90% of the time I just have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. I also cannot stand Gillian’s social justice warrior rants. They are constant and she thinks she is holier than though. It is so hard to listen to.

Listening to Sweet Bobby episode and they pronounce the subject’s name wrong the ENTIRE episode. It’s not that hard. Kirat, not Kireet.

I love this show. I have been listening for years. I know after reading this they would say just to move on. But I truly do enjoy the content. However……lately it feel as if we are all getting lectured by GP for having different opinions. Even Patrick is not allowed to have a differing opinion. It is all about the way she feels and it is right. If Patrick dares to disagree she shoots daggers at him. This is supposed to be entertaining and lately I just feel as if we are being yelled at the whole time.

I love the show and am even a pate at the 5 I was at the 20 but they keep reloading old episodes from Patreon to the regular feed as a “new episode”. And I do feel like Gillian is kind of over it now and it’s kind of annoying being constantly reminded of Patrick going on tour. Need new recs

I like this podcast, but I can’t stand listening to it for very long because how much they scream.

I thinks its an ok podcast. I think it could be better though.

The old eps are a great comfort to me. I’ll keep listening but I don’t think Gillian enjoys this line of work anymore. The subject matter was always hard but P& G used to find a way though it that made it feel like a valve was being opened and pressure was being released. Now she’s so mad at everything and everyone. But honestly, so am I, so who am i to throw stones.

This is such a fun podcast. I couldn’t clean my house without them! I love how nice they are to each other, it warms my heart. This podcast is funny, caring, informational all while keeping everything so respectful. I love everything about it!

This is one of my top all-time favorite podcasts! There is so much genuine affection for each other and their listeners and it’s just like a party that you got invited to. Love hanging out with my friends.

Things I am weary of: Gillian’s constant virtue signaling, smugness, condescension, holier than thou attitude, and insistence on stating her opinions/assumptions/presumptions as FACTS, and Patrick’s unwillingness to challenge any of it. Instead he’ll do an about face to make sure he aligns with what she is saying, even if it conflicts with what he just said. They’ve become their own echo chamber of “aren’t we so enlightened” instead of bringing any potential discussions forward around differing opinions. There are still some funny quips in there but it’s getting harder and harder to listen with every episode.

Gillian’s voice is soooo grating and all she does is lecture me and be racist towards European Americans. White kids in a school play can’t depict black characters but Hamilton is ok? Native Americans lost the land they stole from other “indigenous groups” due to infighting and inferior technology and it’s my fault? It’s unlistenable.

I love their relationship dynamic and the appropriately placed comedic relief to heavy stories. Such an entertaining duo with differing perspective and often attention to different elements of the story which allows for rich conversation.

This two are like if the Bobby Bones Show did a true crime podcast. I used to listen to Autonomy of Murder, but felt down after I listen to a an episode. So, these two honestly make my day better with funny comments while also making sure the victims are honored.

Still love this show! I’ve been listening since 2019. I’m obsessed with True Crime Obsessed! My life revolves around it! I look forward to every single episode...they’re so entertaining and funny. I love Patrick and Gillian! I love the products they advertise...even though I may skip ahead of their advertisements. This midwestern gal loves the New York spice!! Gillian and Patrick are so talented and so funny. I love their rapport. I personally am not big into true crime but I love listening to them tell the stories. It is a great distraction from everything else going on.

Gillian has become Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong. Just screaming at us all the time. The show used to be funny and fun. Now it’s just Patrick and Gillian competing to see who can be outraged the most. I miss the old days.

I find it very disrespectful at the end of the podcast and Patrick says “girl, we did……what’s it called?” You spent time watching the documentary about SOMEONE’S MURDER; researching it; talked about it for 2 hours; and don’t even have the respect to remember the name of the documentary? It’s not cute nor funny. I enjoy Gillian very much, but Patrick is very loud, shrill, and not nearly as funny as he thinks he is. We get it……your home was broken into twice while you were asleep.

Love this but wish Patrick would stop being so influenced by every single thing Gillian says. It’s hard to listen when she has a different opinion than him and he IMMEDIATELY changes his every single time. I like when they don’t agree on everything but lately he comes off so afraid to disagree with her even on the littlest things. Have a backbone Patrick!

🤮🤮🤮🤮to the menendez brothers. IF their story is true, they could have left!! They were grown men who didn’t want to wait on their money!! If you want to hear another take from Dominic Dunne who was there for the trial, I recommend the dune and done podcast.

I’ve loved this podcast for so long but since the news has come out about how Patrick is a bully and throws hissy fits and how they are super cheap with their swag bags at shows and rude to people who pay to see them…I just can’t listen anymore. I feel like I’ve found out that a family member is a murderer. So sad. Shame on you both.

This is one of my favorite podcasts despite all the negative reviews. I love listening and could listen all day.

Gillian is still under the mistaken idea that this is a “comedy” podcast even though she just screams and complains for the entire episode. Ex. This week, she didn’t bother to google the fact that Lake Mead levels rose steadily through 2023 and levels are at approximately 1076 feet today 🙄

This show is such a unique, HILARIOUS, and absolutely fabulous podcast in so many ways. I am obsessed with the banter and wittiness and the interesting stories. I cannot recommend this podcast enough.

I absolutely loved the episode i watched. I think you did a great job with all the examples and information you provided. If i could comment, i appreciate the excitement but the way you guys SCREAMED in my ear the whole hour really gave me a headache. Idk if you guys can back away from the mic I'd really appreciate it. Looking forward to all the amazing stories you guys cover moving forward.
