J_KerouacTons of FunPaul and Stephen provide one of the most highly entertaining podcasts I’ve ever heard. The guests are smart and somewhat whacky so it all adds up to one of the funniest podcasts that I’ve listened to. I listen to Chinwag when I work out and laughing out loud has prompted a number of people to ask me what I’m listening to so hopefully that generates more listeners.

Drlisah2002Love Klepper: Can’t abide KasichKasich ruins it for me because he falls for all the talking points from the right. He doesn’t use facts— the police haven’t been defunded— the funds may be used for other things like social workers who pair up with cops on calls and the funds may not be for buying military style equipment (tanks for example). Also, don’t know where he heard liberals think the world ends tomorrow— we’re talking about taking some measures to make the earth more livable but in the words of the late great George Carlin— the earth isn’t going anywhere— we are if we keep screwing our selves with selfishness and being childish!

AttypopGreat Podcast!I learned about this podcast when I Listened to an interview on The Gist. I’m really glad that I checked it out. The interview with Kal Penn was interesting & funny. This podcast is a keeper! Too bad it appears that the podcast has run its course as there hasn’t been a new episode in months.

TJ BossardKasich/Klepper 2024Klepper is a fantastic interviewer and has sharpened and proven his skills by boldly walking into the lion’s den to expose the insane Trump cult like nobody else in the media has been able to. Kasich. Oh, if only… I loved Kasich during the Republican primaries in 2016. Such a qualified and principled man to hold the highest office. Unfortunately, in the current political climate, a little makeover on Queer Eye might have been necessary and could have done wonders for his campaign. No offense intended, to the esteemed and perfectly charming and handsome Governor. Apparently, the presidency is now a television show; Qualifications and Character are so 20th century. Love this podcast. Fantastic interviews.

LJ12345668Great banter from both sidesI love Jordan Klepper and I appreciate the ability to talk about issues with Gov Kasich who has opposing (but not insane) views. And they keep it light, funny and civil.

MiucaDCGreat discussions, not only entertaining but also insightfulOne of the few programs I can listen to without getting angry. While I view myself as a social democrat, I find myself agreeing with governor Kasick sometimes. I also like their playful Ohio v Michigan banter. But I find Klepper’s insight on current events very interesting. I particularly enjoyed Kal Penn’s episode, especially when he talks about the issue with the environmental NGO yelling at Obama’s policy rather than going into the meeting to talk about solutions. I worked in an NGO in my 30s and experienced a similar frustration - I realized advocacy is more about making noise to please donors. People that want to make a serious impact leave. And yes, too many Ivy league graduates that try to mansplain how things work to female immigrants like myself.

MPCeccEpisode 7I’d vote for a Klepper Kasich ticket in 2024! Go for it. Love the show came to hear both glad I did.
-
KzoogrrKzoo grandmotherMy 34 year old daughter recommended this podcast. I was already a Klepper fan but I’m appreciating Governor Kasich, too. It’s time for civility and respect for all people. Thanks for what you’re doing.

That Guy With OpinionsWish I liked this more…I love John Kasich as a voice of reason and a patriot, though I don’t agree with his politics. Jordan is always amazing, but unfortunately these two just aren’t a great match. Kasich’s profound lack of humor and banal insights just can’t keep up with Jordan’s funnybone and hot takes. You can FEEEL Jordan kind of dragging Kasich through the podcast and TRYING to make it a good listen, but Kasich just isn’t equipped for this kind of show, unfortunately. Sigh.

KTtheoneCame for Klepper……but have enjoyed them both.
-
STLTONOSolid podcastI like the premise of this podcast, a liberal and conservative view point, actually taking time to have a real conversation. They do a great job with their guests. I really enjoyed the Bob Costas interview. I would like this podcast more if the governor didn’t speak over Jordan as much (found in the Bob Costas episode as well as the one where it’s only the Governor and Jordan).
-
Soxy11111Enjoyable for the most partEnjoy this podcast but am annoyed by former Governor Kasich’s comments at times. In most every podcast he touts his accomplishments. Seems to enjoy patting himself on the back.
-
Harz SonderickerThis is a great podcast to stay in the knowI really enjoy the Kasich & Klepper podcast. It’s well thought of and smart. Both Governor Kasich and Jordan discuss topics that are going on in the country and the world. The interviews are great and I very much like the both of them can disagree but still have respect for the others point of view. I’ve been a big Klepper fan from way back in the days on Clark street. Thank you both for keeping my laughing and thinking through the day. Harz

UnrealTimeA Hopeful Duo for America Right NowLove the candid discussion and topics!

MtnBikingGirlJordan and Tim Miller are right.Gov Kasich. I voted for you. You appeal to my moderate democrat philosophy but I disagree with your evaluation of the search warrant that was recently exercised on TFG. We don’t know what they got from Mar a lago, but I believe that AG Garland would not go for the king if he doesn’t have the goods to get the man who thinks he’s king. Listen to Charlie Sykes!! Stay strong and continue to help protect this very fragile democracy. Real Americans care. Love you Jordan!!!
-
40beestGreat podcast!!!It’s podcast that I can laugh while crying about how bad everything is!!!
-
brownhornet1971Great podcast. Love Klepper! Both very articulate and discuss relevant topics in depth. Glad I discovered this!
-
KRoot67Viva!I am behind on this podcast and only recently begin with the first episode and working my way through. I am also currently finishing the last chapter of Hero of Two Worlds about the Marquis de Lafayette. Some of the similarities of yesterday’s political battles and todays are eerily striking. I am a huge reader of history. Nothing is really new. We have seen these rough waters before. The most important thing is to hold the rudder steady and maintain our heading on the pole star of liberty and freedom for all.
-
mstolzTalk about HealthcareWe need to get rid of insurance companies … bring guests on that can figure out how to provide every American free or next to free healthcare!!!! 80% of all social problems would evaporate if we all had healthcare access without paying 30-60% of our salaries!!!
-
Teri_BJGreat to hear people persisting in understanding each otherWhat a great concept, well played.

SethGibJordan not willing to compromiseFeel like Gov Kasich is trying to be reasonable and open to compromise. Jordan looks at everything Republicans do as horrible. In his mind it comes across as only Dems are trying to do the right thing. Only they are willing to “love”. It’s these extreme positions and unwillingness to talk and listen to others perspectives openly that is a HUGE problem in politics. Laws are complex and there are multiple things in bills that can make them problematic and aren’t as easy as the talking points. Our politicians need to know one another, actually listen to one another, and be willing to lead with humility. In a Bipartisan way.
-
BrittyLouSpotLove itI very much enjoy this podcast and the perspectives each of them bring to conversations. My favorite episode was just the two of them talking without a guest. I loved hearing them listen to each other and be able to respond in understanding
-
opp67With Respect to Gov KasichI really want to like this show, and Kasich has a proven record of bipartisanship and genuine patriotism for this country. Though, he is living in the past. His party doesn’t exist anymore, no matter how many times he starts with “When I did…”, “When I worked with..”, “We accomplished…”. Those people aren’t legislating anymore. Please come to the present, Sir.
-
JoanMacaroniNew fanI hate calling myself a “fan” but I am. This is one of those shows that wakes up my brain. I love the fact that The Gov is such as old-fashioned optimist, believing the best about us as a country and who still has faith that Trumpism isn’t as prevalent as we all think it is. And Klepper? He’s a great balance and a fresh voice. I’ll listen everyday and be a better person for it.

jag1152Former OhioanI truly appreciate the diversity of this podcast. My only problem, which is not big, is that John Kasich is referred to as “the governor.” I did not realize this until someone called him “John.” It seems like I can’t go through an entire day without being bombarded multiple times with politics, and it’s often uncomfortable. Whatever media I consume is what I CHOOSE. Can John just be John like Jordan is just Jordan. It’s refreshing and not a bit cringy when a guest says John and not The Gov. It’s so much more human and less like a political Ad. If it is a political Ad, then maybe it’s not a podcast for me. Former Ohioan who has family in Columbus, OH

BalancefxAwesome teamI don’t normally rate podcasts but this is a great show with current topics and strong opinions that don’t often agree but it is great they are being heard and discussed.
-
RespectisGoodGood conversations!Downside: mostly white men here who say the following before giving their opinions: “I realize that I come from a place of privilege”. Silly disclaimer because it’s a given. But I give them credit for trying. Upside: both hosts take up the banner of truly listening. Their goal is not to draw blood. Hurray! They seem to be trying to — often comically — understand complicated dilemmas. That is refreshing because people in the U.S. expect/demand(?) easy answers. I recommend listening!
-
CapriAngelaJust what our nation needs!Love this podcast people actually discuss both sides of an issue in a calm intelligent tone I’ve always admired Governor Kasich.
-
camram12If you like tennis…listen to the episode with Andy Roddick. Such a great listen!

Jen12345678887654321Needed now a daysI decided to give this podcast a try after I realized I was locking myself I a bubble of people with the same opinion as me. This show gives me anxiety at times and I find myself getting upset at times but I think it’s good for me to push my boundaries and hear different perspectives
-
Pokémaniac13The podcast is great! The podcast is amazing. So are the hosts. I thought I would only and always side with Klepper, but I suppose me and John have something’s in common, too. Me and Jordan are both liberals and we both know how to make fun of Republicans (they make it so easy!), while me and John are both Christian. That’s it. Oh, wait! We are all white guys!
-
Junior55GBExcellent stuffNice change from the polarizing podcasts out there. Have always been a fan of Gov Kasich’s. (Even though he is a Buckeye fan. Go Blue) Enjoyable and thought provoking conversations.

Toyotatacomasr5Hacks.These guys are why we are in the situation we are in America.

Markm8643Bob Costas Part IIReally enjoy the podcast. However lately Governor Kasich has this whataboutism going on. Really enjoy how Costas brings a normal view to things. But the Governor is really pushing this theory about both sides. And sure it’s a both sides issue but one side thinks the earth is flat. Also enjoyed how Jordan starts to go back at the Governor during this episode because of all people, Jordan has seen this circus front and center.
-
WeerdoReally great stuffBoth the hosts are super intelligent and articulate. They don’t lean too far left or right. And, bring on great guests with interesting perspectives and keep it funny.
-
Bamboo12322142Great conversationsEnjoying the conversations and listening from two people with different perspectives. We need more of this.
-
ktrap05EnjoyingI’m very much enjoying this podcast. Such good respectful conversations. It’s a breath of fresh air.
-
Cooker0stpModerate, but still a republicanLove Kleeper and everything he does, but governor Kasich, who I consider a moderate republican, kept talking about “bringing things back” on the julie Bowen episode. Whether it was family or social norms, his desire for yesteryear I don’t want to hear. He sounds like most of the older white guys who apart of the GOP where they don’t want to progress and accept the fact we are progressing as society with or without them.
-
ReSee1619Weird paceI tried to listen to this podcast and I just can’t take anymore!! Jordan is funny & normal but what’s going on with Kasich? Is he uncomfortable or just unable to have a normal conversation? Also, why don’t any of these episodes have introductions? John just starts talking. Every episode. I’m done.

dylanator247MAGA Loving insurrectionist!Hard pass on these QAnon, transphobic, right wingers

Ny girly grlEntertaining and a nice break from politicsWhat a pairing, in a good way. I usually listen to political podcasts. Being a fan of the Governor and always looking forward to Klepper’s maga interviews, I expected some more political debating. What a nice surprise and refreshing break I didn’t know I needed, when it wasn’t. I’m so glad I found this podcast. The one podcast I often find myself smiling to.
-
Erica43228Come for the guests, stay for the playful banterI’ve been listening all season and have to admit I am enjoying this much more than I expected to. The hosts play well off each other and the guests have been fantastic. Seriously. Such an interesting array of perspectives. It’s really been fantastic.
-
JD FnoLove the showI have really enjoyed the show. Klepper is thoughtful and funny and I have a great deal of respect for the Governor, who is also thoughtful and shows a bit of his silly side.
-
Make America Sane Again!Ooh nice!Love me some Klepper and glad to see Kasich with him. Been a pleasant surprise to say the least.
-
AshPnastyGood stuffLove Klepper and really enjoying Kasich
-
lpot123Love their chemistry!Thoughtful, insightful, candid conversations.
-
Mags120Yes! Yes! Yes!New podcast for all of us who are crushing on Jordan Klepper! Smart, witty and honest. A good way to hear both sides of the argument. I have learned a lot about compromise and love for our country by listening. Amazing guests. Amazing show!
-
IgotsnonicknameI’m a fan!It is really nice to hear two people who obviously have some opposing views, talk and listen and have rational discussions. Really happy this show is out there. Good job!
-
SummerSusanGreatA super fun and interesting listen! I have never been a huge fan of Kasich, so it’s great to hear Klepper rib him a bit! Contrarily, it’s nice to know that there are conservatives out there who are actually somewhat open minded, interested in opposing ideas, and willing to listen, even if their own stance doesn’t change. Keep it up!

xooxxoox✌️Thanks guysI’ve been trying to find positive speakers for a long time now. Intelligent and entertaining . Your first 2 episodes were great. Americans problems are the explosion of social media and dark money. Too many people with not enough education and too many people getting elections false information. The human brain cannot keep up with computers. And most don’t have the time to flush out miss information. They are too busy trying to make a living. Our elected leadership has taken too much and not given enough. The fact is, we have been fat dumb and happy for a long time and folks didn’t stay involved in the governing or elections.✌️
