    Do or Dice Easter egg!!!
Found Hero Club through re-Slayer’s Take. The production quality is fantastic and makes the story way more immersive. Less clunky/technical/informative and very polished. But the Do or Dice theme that was slipped into the 2nd season in the campfire scene with Skillet is what drove me to review! That’s a fun throwback 🤩 Collaborative storytelling builds community! 👍

    Brilliant
One of the best forms of DnD storytelling I’ve experienced. Absolutely hilarious, with such vivid characters that will break your heart.

I have only written one other review in my life. This show deserves my time.
This show is for anybody who already enjoys D&D. This show is for anybody who already enjoys old or new radio ‘dramas’ such as Thrilling Adventure Hour or The Shadow. This show is even for kids (certain campaigns) who want great stories! More importantly, this show is a great intro to D&D for your friends and family who can’t quite wrap their heads around how it all works or makes a story or who aren’t big on elves, without scaring them with three hours of an actual play podcast or stream. Hero Club is funny, clever, heartbreaking and all around excellent entertainment. I feel lucky to have found it!

    This is my favorite part!
I just finished the City of Mirrors storyline, and I loved it! Really fun characters, great pulp adventure story (which deftly avoids a lot of the problematic aspects of that genre), and some truly unforgettable moments. Nolan North's guest role as a creepy mercenary is incredible!

I’m playing catch-up with “Hero Club”, just finished Season 2 “Adversary” which was dark and creepy and riveting. If you like radio show stories, these guys are the “bee’s knees”.

    best podcast and crew!
Found Hero Club from their twitch streams, had zero idea how DnD worked but loved the storytelling...it's four months later and I have devoured every single episode of this podcast multiple times. George is an exceptional DM and storyteller, and the cast is compelling and creative and SO much fun, and you can tell this is a series made with a genuine love for what they do. Recommend it highly, 100 out of 10 :)

    Best DnD Podcast
I love this podcast, they always have great guests from the voiceover/film/tv world and they do so much improv! And the story actually gets played out in real time so you’re along for the ride without all the waiting around. I’m always so excited to see what happens.

    Amazing cast and stories
Hero Club is a great actual play podcast. The stories and settings are incredibly creative and the entire cast is super talented from top to bottom. I also highly recommend their twitch streams as well!

    What a find!
Absolutely loving this podcast! The quality is outstanding and the story is so much fun. I will share this with the GCP Naish. Cheers! Wish I knew how to change my name on here lol

    Their intro is right
This is exactly how epic I imagine my home games sound like. I love the amount of care that’s put into the editing to turn what can be a pretty messy genre of story to listen to, and turn it into a crisp, well told story. Welcome to Hero Club!

    Best DnD Podcast There Is!
See title. These guys are brilliant and the podcast is even more so! I know functionally nothing about DnD and yet, I look forward to every single episode. Put it in your ear holes immediately.

    Favorite podcast
Hero Club has been our go-to road trip podcast for the past couple years. Every campaign is a whimsical, hilarious, and heart wrenching whirlwind all told through the framework of DnD 5e with the flavor of a radio drama. We cannot stop recommending it to our family and friends, even the ones that don’t know anything about ttrpgs. The storytelling is so heartfelt and gripping that we honestly think it’s a show for everyone. Can not recommend it highly enough. It Never Sleeps, Paid Back in Spades, and Adversary are our very favorites but every season is worth a listen. We have adored them all!

Hero Club: an EXCELLENT way to spend your quarantine!
Hero club is literally the thing that has kept me most sane during this entire quarantine. George as a DM and a host is not only incredibly detailed, but puts more care into to the world he creates for these 2 hour sessions than most put into their everyday jobs!! With an incredible cast of characters who are all so easy to relate to, this is something anyone who loves a good story and misses spending time getting lost in their imagination should be looking into!

    A DnD Must
An absolute blast to listen to whether you’re a player or just a fan of fantastic adventures. Can’t recommend this podcast highly enough!

    Amazing Storytelling
The narration and voice acting on this podcast is next level. This is an audio play where they send you on an emotional roller coaster that even the creators can’t predict. The suspense of not knowing how the dice will roll is thrilling. Can’t wait for more episodes!

    These guys are my favorite
This is by far the most polished Dnd podcast out there. The audio, voice acting, song, and plots are just amazing. Highly recommend listening to all the seasons

    Insanely Good
This is straight up one of the best DnD podcasts. They cut out all the math, rule clarifications, and dead air, creating a polished series that is truly a joy to listen to. I recommend starting with Hank Blackstone Season 1.

    Incredible Immersive Storytelling
One of my favorite things to listen to, ever. If you like getting lost in new worlds and emotionally investing in their inhabitants, Hero Club is for you! No need to really understand D & D to begin with. The actors are all excellent and the production is stellar. There’s a lot of detail and care and work put into everything you hear. It’s easy to love and binge. My favorite season so far is Adversary!

    Quality Theater of Mind
Someone recently told me that tabletop RPG is already a theater of mind so it is primed for podcasting/radioplay. I believe this production in particular has fantastic quality, furthering the immersion. I'm only two episodes in, but loving it all the way. Keep up the good work, I'm excited to catch up.

Can not get enough of Hero Club
I am a huge fan of this podcast. The quality of the expert voice acting, storytelling, and sound mixing combine to make a unique take on D&D podcasting. More than once, I’ve found myself fully immersed in the action of these stories and I’m blown away at the constant increase in quality as the producing team is consistently finding new ways to better themselves and create a new and improved product each season. Definitely worth listening!

    I love this podcast!
I’ve never played DnD before but these podcasts are so good! I feel transported to some adventure land fantasy world. The podcast has such a great production quality and the actors are super talented and fun! What a hidden gem of a podcast.

    Grateful
This podcast was the reason I got into dnd. Went on a date, said I had played, and that was one of the main reasons we started dating. It’s been eleven months, so I’m grateful to these nerds!

    My favorite dnd podcast
Hero club is my favorite Dnd/Tabletop related podcast. In fact, it’s one of my favorite podcasts, period (and I listen to a LOT). Many times it has made me bust up laughing, and other times almost come to tears (while at the same time cursing the creators for making me so invested in the characters). I love the production value! The way it’s edited, the sound effects & music, the concepts of the stories(which are top notch), the amazing voice acting and role playing of the players... A solid, detailed world and campaign created and told by the DM; you can watch it as a movie in your head. Everything blends so well together, I’m amazed that it's an improved DND game!

    BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
I’ve listened to a ton of DND podcasts (Big fan of the Adventure Zone) but what Hero Club does that none of the others have managed to figure out, is how to marry the space between “full blown dnd showcase” and “gripping audio theater”. There’s something nostalgic about listening to these stories. Each one feels familiar in a sense, even romantically so, but because of how the dice roll, every moment is an opportunity go completely off the rails and into territory that no other theatrical or podcast experience that I’ve had has been able to create. 5 stars, 10/10, cant stop, won’t stop, and I don’t see myself slowing down anytime soon.

    Hero Club Review
This thing has excellent production and voice acting. You can tell that everyone at the table loves playing dnd and telling a story together, and that translates into an amazing listening experience. I enjoy the eclectic collection of stories they've told so far and am very excited to see what genres they hit up next... I vote for an underwater Atlantis/Little Mermaid/Splash crossover, though I guess that's not really a genre. But after three seasons I trust this team to nail whatever they set out to do. If anyone could make Atlantis/Little Mermaid/Splash into a genre, I think it would be Hero Club. So yeah a great listen for long commutes! Please do a season that is underwater and has a spooky mystery in a cavern. Maybe the Hardy Boys could be in it too? Wait yes next season I want a Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew/Miss Malard/Atlantis/Little Mermaid/Tarzan/Splash crossover. Thank you

    Best of it’s kind
I’ve been listening to Hero Club since the first season, and this podcast is the real deal. A tasteful balance of D&D and narrative storytelling, it’s episodic format is perfect for a podcast. I would highly recommend this show to anyone looking for narrative long form listening material. 5 stars, two thumbs up. I can’t wait to hear what they’re doing next season.
  • A Nicodemus
    Fun use of time!
I had a blast listening to this, funny, eccentric, and you don’t have to be into D&D to enjoy

    Fun Stories with Friends
A D&D Podcast that requires no prior knowledge of the game and is very easy to follow. These guys make up lovable characters and take you through some amazing hijinks and adventures. I often have trouble focusing on podcasts and audio books, but these stories are original and the improv is very well done. If you're looking for something fun and new, I highly reccommend checking this out.

    Totally swag
Actually the dankest D&D podcast out there. 10/10 would listen again.

    Exceeds Expectations
I have listened to a handful of RPG podcasts in my day, and Hero Club is leagues above the rest. The production quality and care is unparalleled. It is well-structured, well-told, the voice acting is great, I didn't feel like I was listening to a group of friends sitting around the table who happened to be recording, I was totally immersed in the experience. I'm looking forward to more.

    Incredible Production!
I kid you not, I made an apple store account just to leave this review. Without any exaggeration, it's not just one of the best D&D podcasts I've ever heard -- it's easily one of the best /things/ I've ever heard. This podcast is slickly edited, wonderfully acted, and imaginative as hell. It feels more like a skillful radio drama than it does D&D, which, as a DM myself, is about the highest praise I can give it. Do yourself a favor and listen to this. Do your friends a favor and tell them about it. Hero Club has a very bright future, and stumbling across it early feels like discovering the next big thing a few weeks before everyone else. Seriously, it's incredible.

    This Truly Stands Out
This isn't just a D&D podcast, it's a full-on radio play! 'Hero Club' totally sets itself apart from the rest of the Dungeons and Dragons podcasts. With masterful editing and sound effects, and the supplemental illustrations on the Instagram, the listener is truly sucked into the fun whacky world of the adventurers!
  • dnd boy
    Worth it
I listen to a lot of D&D podcasts and this is one of the few that doesn’t blend in with the rest. Worth a listen for sure

    Immediately Incredible
Um, amazing. I seriously can’t stop listening to this

    I am not Marty Abbe-Schneider
This podcast is the best podcast there is. I love listening to it. My favorite part of the podcast is Marty Abbe-Schneider. You can tell he is handsome, even just by listening to him. I am not Marty Abbe-Schneider, I have never even met him. I am just a very big fan of his, after listening to this wonderful podcast. Go Christmas Man!
  • IPromiseIDontKnowThem...
    A Masterpiece through and through.
A Groundbreaking piece of work! Very few times in my years have I come across such a well put together podcast adventure. Perfectly themed for the holidays, this adventure will take you through an adventure with Santa Clause unlike any other. Cozy up by a fire, wrap yourself up like a present and enjoy a fun Christmas adventure with friends. (Take notes Spielberg!)
