Thanks to brother Bill Schlegel’s diligence, many facets of each gem of doctrine are carefully examined. Whether or not I agree with each application or conclusion, I find these podcasts to be meaty spiritual exercise. Yum. Meat. And in this case, mostly kosher meat. So come and dine with brother Bill, per Hebrews 5:14.

I have listened to 87 episodes in 18 days. Bill is quite good at explaining an Biblical Unitarian position with conviction. Bill’s passion for the unity of God the Father is straightforward and spine-strengthening. Everyday for the last 3 months I have been shocked and rocked by the malfeasance of Bible translators. They know what they are doing. If they didn’t know they wouldn’t give so many footnotes with all the exceptions at the bottom of every page of my ESV. If I lived 500 years ago, the “church” would put me to death for what I believe to be the simple and blatant truth of scripture.

I anxiously await every single episode.

Not that what he is saying is wrong, it’s that he completely misunderstands Hebrew and Greek culture and language. Many Messianic Unitarians still believe that Jesus is the ONLY son of god infinatly more powerful than just as the host says, ‘’A man”. Jesus Comes from heaven as he says so even if he was Created he still existed in heaven first and became a man after. This host misses a pack of stuff and dosnt seem to support Unitarianism with sense or logic or scripture but he’s actually arguing against it by being a zealot who only says what he wants the Bible to say, not what it does say.

Bills ability not only to untangle the twisted web that’s been weaved by trinitarian doctrine and translators, but his equal acumen to unfold the truth that is being taught in scripture, opens wide the flood gates so the light of heaven can come in - into my heart and into a dark world! I am listening to the phillipians passage. And this is what I needed. I always could use a little help with any passage. I get something new every time. This is a great help. So I can show other trinitarians that Jesus is truly the son of God. A human being that God so graciously gave the world to save us.
