The impact you are making matters and is appreciated 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I took a restoration of health sabbatical for 6 months after teaching during the beginning of the pandemic til the end of the 2021 school year. I was so emotionally burnt out & carried a lot of guilt/shame for not being able to show up for my students in September. Listening to the podcast during that time off restored a lot of hope for me & reminded me that I’m not alone in wanting to work towards collective healing & liberation. Congratulations on 2 years of incredible work 🎉

    A Dive into Restorative Practices
This Restorative Justice Life brings stories of practitioners who talk about the many ways that restorative practices can look and take root in our lives. David and his guests make the sometimes abstract and big ideas and make them concrete. I tend to have more questions than answers at the end of each episode, but can feel myself growing with every episode. It is a life changing podcast!

    Depth and Diversity
This Restorative Justice Life provides you with in-depth conversation with a range of people involved in the practice. More and more, we see the need for this approach to justice—to heal instead of punish, to repair instead of break. I’m not a practitioner, but even I find lots of value (and so much knowledge) from the various guests of this podcast. This is totally worth subscribing to and sharing with friends. I recommend starting with the episode, “Stumbling into Restorative Justice w/Cheryl Graves,” which is a great intro to the subject with one of “the grandmothers of Chicago’s restorative justice movement.”

    Stumbling into RJ
I love listening to Cheryl tell her stories. I have learned so much more about her.
