    Political Statements
Quit with the subtle political statements imbedded in your assessments of the business news.

I like falling asleep to this

    Where is David This Week?
I’ve been listening to the podcast daily for about a year….all of a sudden we haven’t had a new episode in over a week. Hope it’s a vacation and that the podcast returns next week. Thank you!

    Interesting…but clearly NOT fact checked!!
Two Seasons in and I’ve already come across glaring falsehoods….someone should have fact checked. Facts are a real thing, ya know! One example : Nike is the Goddess of Victory, NOT speed! Phil Knight has acknowledged this fact repeatedly over his career….just saying…

    Why so political
I love/ loved this show. Lately it’s so political. Every episode is about some company advancing social justice or other commie nonsense. David Brown is clearly very liberal and is trying to push his opinions on us in the way he describes the actions of businesses. Please leave the politics out and just tell me the business wars!
  • realitystrikesback
    Nice propaganda
I love how you refer to Joe Rogan‘s information as misinformation and Neil Young‘s concern, a person who’s done more drugs than any of your audience combined, medical advice. What a joke your show is

    Great podcast!
While very similar to it’s big brother, Business Wars, it has its own style that makes it very easy too listen to when you don’t have tons of time. The daily release time means that you never will run out of interesting content. I also appreciate that the creators of this podcast have strong moral values without being annoying. Strongly recommend!

    Really Subscription for this too?
20% of the episode has ads already and now they are putting subscription only content too? This and business wars used to be my favorite podcast. No longer anymore.
  • Chavrifybjeanfh
The ads shouldn’t be longer than the show
I love this, but I’m annoyed that the show is so short and the ad time seems to be more than the show time and the host seems to be rushing so there is enough time for the ads
  • Lucia&Bits
    Another one bites the dust
Another good podcast devolves into politics and opinion pieces. Used to enjoy this one before the whole pandering to social justice thing took over. So “anti LGBT etc” includes “using so called religious beliefs” to deny “equality” in jobs and housing and whatever to other people’s sexual preferences. Unsubscribing after years of listening and watching the devolution into progressive McCarthyism.
  • is rhis name taken?
    Too much shilling
This podcast has turned into a sales pitch for the book of the same name and Amazon’s (who owns this podcast) earbuds. It has become unlistenable.
  • WibbleQuibble
    I’m just about done...
After two weeks of nothing but an advertisement for his new book I have just about has it with this podcast. Enough already. Is anyone else as sick of this as I am?👎

    Best
I like how it’s short but it gets a point across. Good stories everyday. I hope they never end it!

    I love business wars but...
BW is one of my favorite podcast series. The daily BW comes off like an advertisement. Love the concept, but it’s not it quite yet.
  • 2thend
    Pro-capitalist garbage
Pretty sure big companies pay to have good press through this podcast. I’m still subscribed because it’s important to know what the other side is saying.
  • BobbyMS2
Good but feels like an infomercial series
I love the full lengthy BW series. This one is well done, but feels like a series of 5-minute infomercials.

    Want to but don’t
You know I wanna listen but business wars is a little bit better than this is just a short little podcast but I like this in the business wars when I’m in the shower because it’s just a little bit longer I don’t have to skip through it. So every so often I listen to this but that is usually in the morning before my parents wake up.
  • a.a.avery
    Generally good
Some topics they cover warrant a much deeper dive......others barely fill the five minutes. I wish they were more flexible on show length. They try to stay topical, which is admirable, but these shows often feel forced. Definitely give it a listen for a week.

    Good podcast
It is great except that it is not always very appropriate. But other than that it is fine

    Not business wars anymore
This used to be about businesses trying to make moves to beat out other businesses. But now it’s only about activism. The host has taken the business wars part out of the podcast. Every podcast leads to some part of activism of social justice or environmental needs. The host needs to make a separate podcast for his feelings on those things and bring back the actual business wars podcast.
  • FiveisFun
    Great quick content
This is a really great show that covers a wide variety of stories that you don’t here anywhere else.
  • Cudder?
    Quality, succinct
Great for people who want to learn or digest news quickly. Quality content, delivered succinctly in an interesting manner. Have to listen to podcasts for 20 mins to get the information I get in 5 minutes from Business Wars Daily!
  • Fixin Vixens
Love the daily dose of Business Wars Daily!
This is one of four podcasts that I listen to every morning. I really appreciate the condensed but thorough reporting! It’s the nuts and bolts of what you need to know about competitors and their products and services — without the access “fat.”

    Very dry...
    Very boring format

    Daily Favorite
One of my favorite podcasts to listen to on a daily basis. I never miss a day of this podcast because they're interesting, relevant, and short and sweet! They're great and I hope they continue. I also like the narrator and his personal approach with witty comments relative to the subject matter
  • Buildcraft10
Mostly good (could use some improvement)
Okay so I REALLY like business wars so I though, hey! Let’s try this out. I started watching and I liked it mostly.... there is one main issue the ad. I get it if you need funding but could you maybe do it at the end? Because when I’m about to listen to a nice short bite I just hear an ad and it annoys me ALOT so if you despise ads, then skip this one ☝️ but if you don’t then I think you will enjoy it

  • This is my favorite game!
    Great show, but...
Why do a helicopter topic right after Kobe Bryant dies?
  • MeeshiSense
    Good stuff
Business wars is one of my favorite podcasts so these daily mini ones are great kernels to keep you engaged between the more extensive series of the main podcast. I hate weekends now.
  • Ajax241
    2X the Wars!
Great daily to supplement you until the next episode of the main podcast.
  • DeeRyder
Amazing show! Keep up the good work
Love the quick episodes here and the deep dives on the main business war podcast 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

    Addictive
The podcast is addictive. The way its told, the content and context all are Awesome
  • LSU1995
    Alexa version VERY frustrating
I enjoy the podcast and have listened to almost all of the full versions HOWEVER, I added the daily version to my news flash with Alexa and it is NOT daily. Everyday, it plays 5 days worth. It is very frustrating to have to ask Alexa to skip multiple times so that I don’t have to hear replays of the previous 4 days each day.
  • Lari's Music
Season 1 was good what happened?
Omg did this get horribly boring. The 40 minutes of the historian droning on about her life made me want to harm myself.
  • AnnaHelen
    Well done!
Entertaining and informative. I especially liked the series on Cereal Wars.
  • Driver4work
    Great daily listen
Good show to keep updated on daily business news without the deep dive.
  • Junglesme
    Best daily business
    I love it
  • hahead
    Too many ads
Nice, quick content. Ads make up half the average 5 minute podcast.

    Love the quick business updates
I love the quick snippets of current business news. It helps that I am a huge fan of the host from the sister podcast Business Wars.
  • EggNielCake
Too much ads, too little content
Ads accounts for 40-50% of total episode time. Content is not deep enough to justify me wasting so much time in the same ads everyday
  • wvblackbeard
    Too Many Ads
It feels like more than 50% of the show is filled with advertisements. The content of the show is good but not good enough to listen to 1-2 minutes of ads for a 3-4 minute podcast.
  • David Durovy
    Way cool story tellers
Love the dramatic presentations. I thought the McDonald story told much more than the movie version with Michael Keaton. My first with you but not my last for sure.
  • Rondavidsonjr
    3 minute headline
I enjoyed the choice of topics and frequency of this podcast ... but between the advertisements and the branded music ... this podcast amounts to little more than reading of a headline with no substance ... all in a 3 minute package.
  • jillybean62802
    Get rid of Mike Boudet
I really liked this podcast, but I am unsubscribing from all Wondery podcasts because of their continued support of Mike Boudet of Sword and Scale.
