    Monotonous
The host may have good information, and I will probably get his book, Aristotle for Novelists, but as a speaker I can’t listen to him. He speaks in a droning monotone, with hard edits for every long pause which happen FREQUENTLY. Listen for the guests if they interest you, listen to his solo drone if you want to sleep.

    Thoughtful and thorough
Come to this podcast for a synopsis of books you might have overlooked. You’ll get a thoughtful and thorough discussion of what the host likes about each book, how it fits or doesn’t fit in its genre, and why it is a good book for men to read.

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of working with Doug for the past five years. He is a very inspirational and positive person to be around. His podcast are fantastic as they emulate his views and personality. Over the past years he has taught me so much and I listen to his podcast every morning and it’s a distinct pleasure to have the ability to give him a call if I need help or advice. He’s a very fun and energetic person to be around and I strive to learn constantly from him. I recommend this podcast to anyone looking to improve any aspect of their life.

    Fun, entertaining, and beneficial!
Doug’s interviews are so fun, make you laugh, think deeper, and yep - be more open minded. Doug is always asking the questions no one wants to ask in order to dig deeper! At the same time the episodes are light and comfortable in nature. Highly recommend making this podcast part of your list!

    Brillant!
I just listened to my first of Doug Vigliotti's podcasts with Annie Duke and I left with so much valuable perspectives! Doug Vigliotti seems to always ask the right questions and push the subject. Doug's subjects push you to be better equipped for work, dealing with others on a day-today basis and understanding the fundamentals of your actions and decision. Keep the podcasts coming! Highly Recommended!

    DIY a better me
I binge listened four episodes this morning doing yard work. Very interesting topics and guests. I like that the information is really easy to digest and Doug does a nice job of boiling down the stuff that matters for an easy take away. I know I will be applying the things learn at work and at home as well. Can’t wait for more!
