    Very light on content
I have listened to several episodes and find that there isn’t much of value here. This show is extremely basic and some of the things he says are just plain wrong. If you are a complete neophyte there are better sources of information for you and if you have accumulated any wealth then you already know more than you will get from this podcast.

One of the best podcasts I’ve found thus far
Honestly I struggle with podcasts because the flow of conversation, the voice, etc. but the content here is really in depth, clear, and engaging with a perfect mix of opinion and facts. This show made it possible for me to finally get a hold of my finances in a organized way, prepare for retirement with the right information. Ya Boi is a must for getting your money right. Thank you so much!

    Fantastic financial podcast
This is THE BEST financial podcasts out there by Far!!! I am a massage therapist in NY and I started listening to this podcast during my downtime between clients last summer 2023 and it changed my life tremendously for the better. I was able to save more for my Wedding in October, go on our dream honeymoon in Hawaii a month later, and get on track to saving for retirement, all while just having had a life saving surgery 2 months before my wedding. I cannot thank Andrew, founder of Master Money and the crew for everything they do on this podcast. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to start or level up their finance game as I’ve already passed it on to all my family and friends to listen to. Seriously can't thank you enough and I look forward to listening in each and every week!!!

    A Christian perspective
It’s amazing how the world is all about self and they never tell you to give to God first. Nothing about tithing or giving which is a universal law. I’ve learned some good tips, I just wish it wasn’t about greed. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Ecclesiastes 5:10 Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

    Great podcast
This is a great educational podcast on personal finance. What I really like about Andrew, very relatable and entertaining (not dry like the topic can become with certain people)

    Simply The Best
I found this podcast in 2023 and have been a huge fan since. As an older Gen X listener I was already in a good financial spot in life when I found the show but this show has become a constant source of knowledge and encouragement to keep pushing toward the goal of freedom. After work, the dog and I enjoy a new show as we take a jaunty saunter around the neighborhood. Keep up the fantastic work. The dog and I appreciate it!!

I’m in my early 20s and just out of college. Started listening to learn more about personal finance in early 2023. I now SWEAR BY THIS PODCAST and recommend to all my friends who are in debt and those who are learning investment options. So grateful for this content which has since motivated me to keep researching and learning. THANK YOU ANDREW!!!

    Repetitive and no real content
We had been listening to different personal finance podcasts + books and this was the worst one by far. Do not recommend. He kept repeating himself and going into commercials, I literally didn’t learn anything.

Not impressed wiylthball of the “pitches”

    Crossed Ad Threshold
Good, varying topics but can be grating and hard on the ears. Lately the ads have grown to the point where it’s over monitized; probably going to un-follow and move on.

    Great content with speed talker
Great content! I discovered this podcast while listening to Andrew on The Stacking Benjamins. He’s fresh with topics, which can be a challenge in the FI community. I would leave five stars but he’s a bit of a speed talker. Need to slow it down and relax. That being said, it’s a show which I will continue to follow!

    Stunning podcast

    Love your podcast!
I’ve been following along for years and love your podcasts. Not that I am retiring anytime soon, I’m only 29, but could you do a episode on when it comes time to retire how you go about withdrawing from all of your accounts? What taxes on the investments that you have looks like and drawing from ETFs, mutual fund and index funds? I understand contributing to your investments, but I still have some questions when it comes time to sell, withdraw, and retire.
  • Nwillis2
    A must listen!
I have binge listening to this podcast as I work on getting my financial life in order and it’s been so helpful. It serves as a reminder that schools don’t teach enough about personal finance, budgeting, and wealth management to help break generational cycles of poor money decisions. Every episode I listen to the more confident and empowered I feel to take control of my finances! Thank you!
  • Mr simple path
    More ads than content
The show is jam packed with ads. The actual financial content is very basic, and once you listen to a few episodes you realize he just repeats and regurgitates the same few ideas over and over, surrounded with the same repetitive buzzwords and catchphrases, and jam packed together with too many ads. To be honest, it seems like he just hastily blasts over a whole bunch of episodes at once, trying to spread minimal financial content as thin as possible with filler words and annoyingly repetitive phrases mainly as a delivery mechanism for his ads, so I assume this podcast is a mainly a value add to his financial situation. Not worth the time and attention for listeners.

Great info and easy to understand

    So much helpful advice!
Felt like I was living paycheck to paycheck, and not accumulating anything later for life. Listening to Personal Finance Podcast has helped me put a plan together and how to prioritize between different savings options!
  • LJB :)
    Be wary of advice
I’ve listened to this show for a couple months now on recommendation of the Stacking Benjamin’s show. I enjoy the upbeat nature and tempo of the show but I have noticed that the host will sometimes get small details incorrect when explaining concepts. Look, I know no one is perfect and I know this technically is not “financial advice” but I would just caution any listeners to make sure you double check facts after listening to this podcast. He says everything very confidently so it’s hard not to take everything straight but do your due diligence.

    Financial Freedom Lives Here!
Honestly, you’re missing out on some revenue stream by not listening to this podcast. Have millions? Maybe that’s not a big deal and you could write the show’s next episode. For most of us? This podcast is the financial sense we wish we had sooner. Do yourself, your spouse, your kids, and your grandkids a solid, and don’t waste any more time gaining financial independence and generation wealth. listen. Every. Single. Episode. is impactful, encouraging, and applicable. Tune in, do the work, and there will be something you learn here that can add some zeros to your bank account. (PS: I’m born and raised in the 727! I love that you’re a Tampa Bay dude.)

    Great podcast but…..
For the weekly listener the ads are overwhelming. First two minutes of every show, then ads throughout. I know you have to make your money but not fun to listen to the same ads every week.

    My #1 Podcast
I’ve been listening for over a year now and I’m still learning new content each time. The clarity of the content and real life examples make the topics easy to understand, even for people who don’t have an extensive financial background. This podcast is great!

    Glad I found you
Just came across this show while trying to find financial content. I know kinda right away if I’m going to like a podcast or not. Andrews energy and knowledge right off the bat is where I needed to be. Well spoken. Clear voice. I love the examples right after his spiel. Gives you a better understanding. I will be binging this until I catch up as I’m way behind. Thank you for sharing your knowledge sir.

    Long time listener but…
I have been listening to the podcast since the beginning and love the content. However, the ads have increased to the point where it’s annoying. Sure, once you get use to where they are in the show you get good at skipping the adds, but has turned me off to listening weekly.

Sometimes helpful, but unrealistic for many
The show provides a lot of good info. But I think a lot of the advice is unrealistic for people who live in a high cost of living area. Stating that someone should never pay more than 30% of net income for housing is totally unrealistic for someone in San Francisco, DC, NYC, etc. I make well over 100k and that math would mean I couldn’t afford the average one bedroom apartment. And the host here literally says if you can’t make 30% work, you need to earn more money. So, when I make 200k I can maybe afford a 1 bedroom plus den? Is that the logic here? The math does. not. work. in big cities. I wish more finance people actually used realistic math and weren’t so prescriptive. Also, using net income to determine what you can afford, and then assuming if you go over 30% spending you won’t be saving enough, ignores the fact that net income will go down the more you save pretax (HSA/FSA, 401k, etc).

    Simple personal finance info
Simple yet practical personal finance info. Andrew does a great job of relaying hard to understand personal finance info into an easy to understand format. His podcasts are typically around 30 minutes so easy to listen to if you’re on the go which most people are. Would recommend to anyone looking to improve their personal finance knowledge.
  • Ravenfan005
Good advice. Way to many ads!
Good advice offered, but way to many advertisements. 20% of each episode is pitching Ads. Gets old quick.
  • Steve_159
    Very practical investing advice.
I came across this podcast because I was looking to increase my financial knowledge listening while I work. Gave him a shot and he did not disappoint. He is entertaining, energetic all while increasing own investment in yourself. My only “con” is I wish the podcast were longer, because they are so informative and grabs my attention. So good job, Andrew! Keep up the great work! You have another addition to your audience.

    Losing interest halfway through
Can’t seem to finish the episodes. His voice is like a commercial with no substance. There is better out there, more authentic with rich content.
